Place is wonderfully yummy and at a good price! Complementary miso soup, we got the yellowtail collared fish (bones) worth the picking apart and fun to eat, we also got the yellowtail nigiri, alburi salmon (seared), eel nigiri, & the double salmon roll! Mobile pay n tip at the screen, enjoy yourself there and eat good Baby! ✨️

This place is very chill and clean, with a self-serve bar for miso soup, ginger, wasabi, tea, and water. But I’m stopping in the middle of eating to write this review specifically because this is the best nigiri I can ever recall having!

Food was pretty good, but hard to enjoy because of the ambience, or lack thereof. There isn’t really much energy or vibe to the space. I remember feeling like it was very quiet besides the scraping sound of the chairs against the floor. The worst part was undeniably the terrible lighting. I had my birthday dinner there and really wanted to enjoy a long drawn out dinner, but the lighting was giving me a very bad migraine, straining my eyes, and making it look like we were in some kind of lab experiment. I don’t have epilepsy or anything, and even still this lighting made me feel physically ill. A shame, because I really wanted to like the place. Again, food was yummy at least.

Low key casual place. Clean restaurant and extensive menu. It was busy but not a long line. We enjoyed our spicy tuna roll, Steve had spicy tuna bowl with rice and we shared yellow tail sushi. There is a bar at the back where you grab your own wasabi and ginger. I noticed something I had never seen before in one of the containers it looked charred. So we tried it, it is seaweed and It Was Delicious and crispy but even meaty (this is difficult to explain) you must try it for yourself but I believe it adds umami to the meal in such a unique and unexpected way. I really enjoyed our visit. I’d eat here again when I’m passing through Korea town in a heart beat

This was the 3rd sushi place in 3 days.

I did a lot of reading on google reviews before selecting this place.

First off – parking is horrendous, that just means that this place is so awesome people don’t mind it.

Second – even though the name says take out, they do have sit in dining but it’s more like a cafeteria. Most of it is self serve except for the essentials. If you’re into fine dining then this is not the place for you.

Finally – The food was fabulous and the staff was amazing. The soft shell crab was the highlight. All the rolls were yummy.

New sushi place in Ktown! Portions are generous and pretty tasty overall I would say. Highly recommend the crunch roll if you like crunchy stuff. The eel on chirashi was surprisingly good too. Highly suggest you try to Lynette combo it’s the prettiest and most diverse combo ever ☺️

Great sushi!! Must try the shrimp sushi ceviche, it’s not on the menu anymore but if you ask perhaps they can still make it! My boyfriend and I were looking for high rating sushi place and this place did not disappoint! Dishes were amazing, the place was empty when we arrived (around 3pm on a Sunday) like 2 more people arrived later but no crowds. Keep in mind this a small corner area about 20people can fill up the place so don’t expect to make reservations. Single unisex bathroom could use a bit of TLC but nothing concerning. We got excited when the cashier said that they offered complimentary self-serve miso soup, water with lemons, hot tea, wasabi, soy sauce, chopsticks and chopsticks helpers. Food took about 10mins to come out and everything tasted delicious 8/10 for my palate. No parking available so expect to walk. I highly recommend this place!! We will be coming again!!

It has been 7 months and we come here every week since they opened. It has been consistent, delicious, and we are now challenging ourselves to try every roll on the menu. All have been excellent! The owners are lovely and care about quality, you can see it in their presentation and in their food.

Original:
Friendly staff and fresh sushi at a reasonable cost. I love this place; I’ve already been here twice since they opened last week. They even have a protein option without rice as part of their extensive menu. It’s very clean inside with some nice seating, and they offer takeout (as the name would suggest). It’s a solid casual sushi joint. When you approach the windows are a little dark but they have an “Open” sign to the left of the door. Try the appetizers and desserts!

In more detail:
California Roll: Pretty good, it’s one of those California rolls that use a crab mix instead of solid crab if that’s your jam.

Tempura Roll: Yummy, and huge. A touch salty from the sauce on top, but the texture and flavor is great.

Cucumber Salad: Honestly the unexpected star of the show. Delicious, crisp, crunchy.

Salmon Roll: Excellent salmon roll. 10/10

W W! I just wanted to say this place is amazing!!! So, I was originally looking at some catering options to prep for a birthday dinner but I decided to go with this place for take out because I had a really good experience in the past and it was both tasty and visually appealing for the guests. I put in a decent size order and the chef put together an amazing party plate for us! They also added in a huge salad as a complimentary gift which was amazing. They sure know how to keep a customer. I was able to get the picture of the sushi plate but couldn’t get the salad. It was gone too fast before I could even take a picture… honestly I got so many compliments from my guest for my sushi plate and I’m pretty sure this will be my designated spot from now on for serving guests. So happy with this place ☺️ and the picture came out so beautifully!

This is my new go to sushi place. Fresh quality, generous portion and owners who care about food quality. Highly recommend this place.
