I was looking for good a Italian food in the area but it wasn’t easy to find(we were hungry and on a time meter). We decided on this spot because of the reviews online. I must say I was pretty impressed. It has the interior of fast food restaurant. You put your order in on monitor right as you enter. You don’t have A LOT of options but enough to curb your appetite. Their noodles tasted very fresh. The Alfredo sauce was nice and creamy. They serve your food in these to go containers which is okay I guess. They have complimentary cookies in cups as well on the front counter. Will I go again, yes. Will it be a go-to, no. The staff was 100% friendly!

Pasta Via catered my birthday lunch at a Pilates studio in the West Loop and they were incredible. Everything arrived exactly on time, the food was so delicious, and the setup was adorable — super easy for everyone to grab a pasta take-out box to enjoy. All of my guests kept talking about how good everything was. Highly recommend for any event!

I just had one of the most delicious meals here. The owner—who is also the cook—personally greeted everyone who walked in and made recommendations with genuine passion and pride for his business. The service alone would make me come back, but the food was just as incredible. You could truly taste the freshness in the noodles and every ingredient. Even though the restaurant operates with a faster-service model, the quality easily rivals (and honestly surpasses) many high-end Italian restaurants. Can’t wait to go back!
Meal: Vodka Rigatoni w/ spinach and pancetta.

Love the home made pasta! Great price as well, and love that you can get it all takeout if you’d like. The interior is super well decorated as well.

Probably the worst Italian food I’ve ever had. I had high expectations based on the reviews but was very disappointed. I ordered rigatoni with vodka sauce, sausage, and peas.

It was the driest pasta ever, the flavor was non existent. Almost tasted like dog food. I also paid $20 for the little container that wasn’t even filled to the brim. The noodles were way too al dente. I’m getting mad all over just thinking about it. Do not recommend.

Just great people making great food. Everything’s from scratch , they care about what they are doing and it’s not a chain! Have had the pastas but today got the pork tenderloin sandwich and it may be a top 5 west loop Sammy.

This restaurant is hands down the best in the West Loop, and it even rivals many Michelin-starred establishments I’ve tried. When I first arrived, I asked a friendly staff member who opened the door for me about the food. They confidently rated it a 10/10, which I was skeptical about.

As I stepped inside, I was greeted by the restaurant’s owner, who shared insights about the menu and his family’s homemade sauce. While I waited for my food, one of the staff members brought out freshly made cannolis within four minutes of sitting down. Before I could even finish half of my cannoli, my main course arrived, presented with such excitement that I couldn’t help but smile.

The Italian food I devoured was some of the best I’ve ever had. Every bite was bursting with history passed down from each generation, fresh and organic flavors. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for high quality food that’s accessible. As a queer person of color, I felt incredibly safe and welcomed in this space. I can’t wait to return soon! 🙂

Stopped into Pasta Via and had an amazing experience. The service was absolutely incredible from start to finish. I loved being able to fully customize my pasta. I went with black squid ink pasta with shrimp and vegetables, and it was absolutely delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend. I’d honestly go there every day if I could.

Pasta Via has a great variety of fresh pasta with a welcoming staff ready to help with your order. They have pasta to take home and cook yourself as well as pasta made to order in house. This is a great addition to the neighborhood.

Ordered catering for an event; the portions were plentiful, the food was delicious and the service was among the best I’ve ever had. Very responsive, communicative staff, who were on time. The vodka sauce was a fan fav. This is a fun and good option for an Italian night.
