A little late getting this posted, but headed here this past Sunday after the CMA fest. Food was great, but our order was not correct. Ordered a big daddy and two lone wolfs with just ketchup…got everything.in the lone wolfs. Did not make a fuss as the line behind us was already 20 deep and did not want to add the stress to the girl working (only one there).

Daddy’s dogs have by far the best hot dogs in the country. I have had some good hot dogs in my time. But this place did not only meet my expectations. It exceeded them. The experience was modern and fun. Get laid back and relaxing. The Carolina dog absolutely blew my mind. And the Cuban was amazing as well. Yes I got two! I had to get the experience. I had a mullet and relaxed for an hour or so just enjoying the atmosphere. I will be back at this place regularly.

To the gal making hot dogs on Sundays at 1:15am. Apologies for being unaware that you make $12/hour. $50+ on hot dogs is obviously steep, but I wouldn’t have known your hourly wage was similar to that of any industry worker. We also stood there for a minute while you sat on your phone before taking our order. I added $3 to the total and $15 in cash after you snapped at me. Hope it will ease the pain. God bless you.
If you are reading this, please tip the folks at the hot dog stand in Printer’s Alley!

A hole in the wall place with food you don’t want to miss. Located in Printer’s Alley you will find a hot dog shop selling some usual and unusual concoctions! Fairly priced for good sized portions. Wife got the chili cheese dog and I got the Georgia dog. The chili cheese dog has the usual, while my Georgia dog had half of a large peach cut up with jalapenos, cream cheese, and Daddy Dog’s “secret sauce.”
The Georgia dog had that perfect combo of sweet (peach) and spicy (jalapeno). Large size hot dog, unlike the normal grocery sized ones you often see.
No seating as this is pretty much a food stand. So, you will have to find a wall to lean against or walk around. Gave 4 on service and atmosphere due to not really having either since it is not a normal sit down restaurant.

First time in Nashville and visiting printers Alley. Was looking for some thing for a quick bite to eat and saw this place. If you were looking for a late night snack, then this is your place to get. The hotdogs are a little greasy, but plentiful and lots of choices for toppings so this would be your great after the bars food to have. I had the bacon barbecue with mustard and cheese. The service was quick and fast and we were able to get it to go boxes and the prices were not that bad. It’s not a place that I would go normally during a regular hour but after barhopping this is your place to be.

Cool spot in the heart of Printers Alley. Open late-night to grab quick bites after a night out in the bars/pubs. You order at the window & even with a packed crowd all ordering, you get your food damn quick! We ordered during a peak-time (around 2a on a Saturday) & got our dogs in less than 10min. The food was hot, fresh & delicious.

I had an experience with Daddy’s dogs when they were at the Yeehaw brewery on 6th street. I’m not sure how often they are there, but it was great.
I had the Big Daddy and my son had the Chili dog. We’re from Chicago so we’ve had plenty of dogs in our day. These were a nice change of pace from the standard Chicago style dog that everyone does.
The big daddy had a bunch of nice crunchy bacon and the cream cheese was a nice twist. My son loved the chili dog.
I’ve never been to this location on printers alley, but if you’re at Yeehaw when you’re there, give it a try.

We went to this spot and the person working was basically asleep. We had to ask multiple times to order before we were acknowledged. The person working then proceeded to get something down from the ceiling with an old dirty broom. We left right after that. The only reason I didn’t give this 1 star is because we never tried the food. Maybe we went on a bad night, but the person working clearly gave no craps and seemed like they didn’t even want to be there.

Such a small hidden gem. The hot dog portions are always stacked with toppings and you’re definitely going to be full. I also love that sales tax is already included in the price. So far my favorite is the Big Daddy, it’s perfect! They also let you add/change toppings without additional charges. It’s my go to for lunch.
