I would really like to love this place but I just can’t. The prices are high, you don’t get what you pay for and it’s not particularly good tasting.
We paid $26 for two sandwiches. One of which was The Club, which is listed as having turkey, ham, bacon, lettuce, tomato and Russian dressing. When we got home there was barely any meat, turkey was only on half the sandwich and no lettuce or tomato to be found and like two slices of ham. For a $13 sandwich, really??

Awesome sausage egg and cheese, best I’ve had in the area. Cash-only but justified by fair prices, and an old-school menu and place. No frills good food. Recommended!

I go here every now and then to pick up stuff. I normally go there because I used to like the potato salad there. When I went there the other day, The potato salad was too sugary. The point of me going to a deli for potato salad is to get something that’s more on the savory side. Also they don’t take credit cards still and it’s 2023. I would consider going back to get other food, but I don’t know what happened with the potato salad there.

I was hesitant to come here for a breakfast sandwich because I always go to one place that’s my “go to” spot and they always cook the breakfast fantastic. Every other place I tried in Suffolk didn’t cook the eggs or bacon that great. But I was too far away to go to my usual spot. So I ordered from Lacoma. And I really have to say the breakfast sandwich was absolutely delicious. The bacon and eggs were cooked prefect and they actually put a decent amount of bacon on the sandwich. Instead of putting one tiny piece of bacon on for the whole sandwich. They also let me sample the pasta salads and that was off the hook. Delicious and different! I’m pregnant so these are foods I know I will be back for. They also serve homemade food which looks pretty good as well. The chicken cutlets look so much better than other places and they look very fresh. So I will be a regular customer here
from now on for breakfast and sometimes lunch instead of always going to my other place.

What happened here? Used to be my go to for sandwiches and salads. Just got a roast beef hero Thursday, made by the man who’s been there forever. No more than 4 slices of meat on a hero?? Bread sandwich? You want to charge more for a real hero? Tell me it costs more for more meat and I’ll gladly pay!! Of course it was put together on the counter with him blocking the view, so I find out when I get home how chintzy it was. Lost a good customer by being cheap!!

Thia place has gone downhill! Three times in the last couple of months that I have gotten egg sandwiches here, I get home and they are made completely wrong. I only order two at a time so it shouldn’t be so difficult. Today I decided to call them and let them know that there have been issues not just today but other times recently and I got a very vague apology. I will be finding another Deli to get my egg sandwiches from!
