Heard great things about this place and went to check it out. The coffee shop itself is very inviting and the safe was very friendly. We got coffee and food togo and it was all delicious! We got their torta and a croissant breakfast sandwich. The torta was very flavorful and the salsas that came with it added some great balance to the sandwich. The croissant was flakey and buttery! The egg, cheese, bacon on a croissant is always a great choice. Definitely recommend checking it out to get some good food and good coffee

This is a great coffee spot in Posen, IL, where my husband used to live. They also have delicious food! Today while waiting for Tres Leche Matcha Latte (soooo good!!) and a London Fog Latte we were given some soup to try…yum! This is now one of my favorite places to stop when we are in the area. I can’t wait until it is warm outside, they have a large outdoor area for sitting.

Our first time at la Bodega Cafe . Server was new and really didn’t know much about the menu, but I completely understand. I had a bunch a questions and was surprised they didn’t have certain options like meat toppings for the chilaquiles. But over all everything was ok. We will definitely be back to Try more options on there menu.

This is an amazing coffee shop. The coffee was really good. The bacon egg and cheese was really big and tasty. The avocado toast was great too. The service was really good also. They were very nice.

Wanted to find a coffee shop nearby to try out and found this place. They have a lot of options of hot and cold drinks, more with their unique flavored drinks. The croissant breakfast sandwich was very good as well. Will for sure go again!

I’ve been passing by this place for a while now and today I decided to walk in. It honestly did not disappoint upon entering you are greated with a little soup bowl. Everyone is very nice and the atmosphere is very calming. I love the decor and all the flowers they have outside it feels like a little cheerful oasis. The coffee is good!!! I am very special with my coffee and some places I’ve been to claim to be coffee shops etc and their coffee is weak! No flavor but this honestly surprised me. My husband got an Iced Americano with cold foam and I got a Mazapan latte they were both very tasty my husband’s coffee was spot on strong and bold! And the Mazapán latte was very tasty I did ask the girl to not make it super sweet because I love to taste the coffee and it was delicious. I also got a jalapeño cheddar bacon egg and cheese bagel and I was a little disappointed because I thought the bagel had the Jalapeños inside the bread they brought out a jalapeño bowl lol but it’s ok it was still very good I just wish they would have mentioned it was on the side. My busband got a breakfast torta and it was good as well. They also have a point system if you’re a return costumer you get 15%off after 60pts I believe the girl said which is cool. The garden center was closed not sure if it’s permantly closed or temporarily?.. I was looking forward to see some plants and possibly buy one since I’m a plant person. I highly recommend this little hidden gem!

Went to La Bodega with my best friend and absolutely loved it. The whole place feels warm, cozy, and welcoming — like “visiting-grandma but make it aesthetic café” vibes.
I tried matcha for the first time here and… wow. It came with sweet cream and a strawberry topping and was so delicious. I’m already planning my next trip back just for that drink.
When you dine in, they bring out a free bowl of soup, and it was pure comfort — warm, cozy, instant fuzzy feelings.
I ordered the Bodega Burrito with chorizo, potatoes, and eggs. It was okay — not bad, just not mind-blowing. My friend got the croissant sandwich and that thing was massive. It looked and smelled amazing, and yes, I fully had order regret. I’ll be getting that next time.

I got a pumpkin spice Latte and a Ham and cheese sandwich. Both items are so good, very tasteful. The service is nice and the environment is so CUTE. Definitely coming back 9.5/10
