Only Indian I have ever been really impressed with. Delivery man was super smiley and lovely and quick delivery aswell! And the food was all piping hot. The first curry that I’ve ordered that was actually spicy when they said it was spicey. Really tastey. Definitely will come back.

I’ve been ordering from this place for last two years. I do not consider myself a regular customer but I do order once a while. Their food is at best average. The only reason I still order from here is because there is not any other indian cuisine in this area. They kinda have the monopoly on South Road.
Last week I placed an order for vegetable biryani and a tandoori chicken as starter. The price was £7.50 for biriyani and £4.25 for the tandoori chicken as per Their apps/Google menu. So the total price should have been £11.75
When I collected the order I was charged £13.10. I asked for an explanation and they said the apps price is outdated and the actual price of the biriyani is £7.50 and for tandoori chicken is £4.50. And then 0.60 is service charge and 0.10 is for bag. So without any argument I just paid. This was not the first time they over charged. It happened couple of times before and every time they just have some lame excuses for overcharge. I was quite pissed and left. But when I got home I did the math again according to their scamming price and to my surprise it was still £12.70=(£7.50+£4.50+0.60+0.10). Not £13.10 which I was charged.
I then called them and the guy this time started giving me again a different price. £7.75 biryani £4.75 tandoori chicken £0.50 service £0.10 bag. So i asked why there are so much discrepancy in thier pricing even in their own words? The guy just simply couldn’t explain rather saying he cant explain but his boss/owner of this place would call me back later to provide further clarification. And it never happened.
One thing I need to highlight here is that, they charge you a service charge although its not a sitting restaurant. They include the service charge just because of the software they use to compile/execute the orders. Not sure how that can be fair or even legal.
I am a local residence and the last thing I would want is to is degrading our local business. But based on my overall experience with this place I must take a moral decision and let others know that be careful when you order here because these people are price scammers. They will find every single tricks in the book to scam your money which you wouldn’t even notice.
Btw they Don’t provide receipts willingly which is another indication that they are up for no good.

This is by far the best Indian in the area. I’ve tried a few but nothing compares to this place.
From ordering on the app to getting the food(whether that’s delivery or collection) it’s a very seamless experience. I choose to collect as I only live local. We always order the korma, butter chicken, masala sauce, cheese naan, bahjis, tempura king prawn & a few other bits and all the times I’ve had a takeaway from here, I’ve never had a bad one yet! Food is always tasty and piping hot. The butter chicken & korma are always nice & creamy and never disappoint. For what you get as well, the price isn’t bad at all. For 3 of us, the total came to just over £45 & for what we get, it’s not bad at all.
The staff are proper sound and always look after their regular customers, as well as their new ones too.
Don’t hesitate to go here, you won’t regret it!
