This café is disguised as a chill, relaxing, coffee shop where students and people come to catch up on homework, letter, writing, and other stuff on their devices. It also has a small, but really good menu. We ordered the flatbed with steak and onions and a couple of their hamburgers. Both were outstanding and delicious! The steak on the flatbread was generous well seasoned and properly cooked. My wife and her sister commented on his tenderness and flavor. They shared one between the two of them, and it was plenty for them. My brother-in-law and myself opted for the house burger, which included Sliced avocado, cheddar cheese, lettuce, onions, and tomatoes and… A super great added bonus… When I asked for the burger, medium rare, they had no problem cooking it that way for me. That is not something you often find as most places seem to be required to overcook their burgers. The cappuccinos were hot and made in a quality craft style, and my Earl Grey tea was wonderful. The prices weren’t too bad with the burgers coming in at $16 and the flatbread at $15. I believe the cappuccino was five dollars and my tea was about $3.75
A great little spot for meal, or drink.

We had a lovely and cozy breakfast on a Wednesday morning to celebrate and send off a friend. The space was great the fruit water was so fresh and the food was very very good. We had salmon and lox, the beef pastry with a fried eggs, a stack of potatoes and home fried potatoes to top it off. My partner who is the coffee drinker enjoyed their frozen latte.

Crossing the border into the city, Arlington-born Ididos Coffee is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. Walking in on a Wednesday morning, the space was filled with people reading, working, and even a new parent group connecting. It filled the space with good energy!
They have a full coffee menu and food items too. My latte was strong and well balanced. To eat, I loved the feta and spinach pastry. To spice it up, I added sriracha from the condiment bar.
The space lets natural light in and is designed well. Two bathrooms are in the back, but ask the friendly staff for the code before you walk back.
Street parking is easy to find during the week nearby.

Checked out this coffee spot in DC and absolutely loved it. I ordered the blueberry pancake and an Americano—both were amazing. The coffee was so smooth I drank it black, which I never do, and the blueberry pancake was so flavorful it didn’t even need syrup. Everything was spot on. I also had the chance to meet the owner, who was incredibly kind, and the customer service overall was top-notch. Highly recommend!

Calling all vegans! IDIDO’S vegan burger is YUMMY and such great news for our community. It’s the perfect combo of tasty and nutritious. They’ve totally solved the “healthy vegan meal discovery” problem. Pro tip: add the Berry Beet supplement to your order—best decision ever! Super satisfied with Ididos!

I came in for a quick breakfast and ended up loving this spot. The Sunrise Sandwich was awesome — sausage, guac, and a fried egg on a brioche bun. It was super flavorful but still felt light, not greasy or heavy like a lot of breakfast sandwiches. Just really satisfying without making you feel like you overdid it. I also had a cappuccino that was smooth and really well made. You can tell they know what they’re doing with their coffee.
The space itself is great. There’s plenty of room to sit and it has a really chill vibe. It’s perfect if you want to catch up with a friend, hang out for a bit, or just relax for a while. The staff was friendly and easygoing, which made the whole experience even better.
It’s the kind of place you could easily make part of your routine. Between the great food, solid coffee, and the relaxed atmosphere, I’ll definitely be coming back. If you’re looking for a spot that delivers on taste without being over the top, this is it.

Impressive neighborhood cafe!! 5 stars b/c everything here slaps!!
Been here a few times now for afternoon coffee and dinner.
The best mocha I’ve had in DC. Rich, smooth, but a lite sweet.
The Chicken sandwich!! I gobbled it up. So delicious. Perfect crispy, juicy, and heat with all the toppings.
The Jerk wings had great flavor. A little hot for me but Im just not ‘one with the heat’. Working on it!
The place is modern and space to relax or do work from breakfast to dinner.
I’m a picky diner (go read some of my other reviews) but this cafe’s 5 stars are legit for a reason!!

The best new addition to the neighborhood we could have possibly asked for. Black owned and whoever created the menu is truly culinarily gifted. We tried their brunch before and now they have a new dinner menu as well as new hours and everything tastes like it was made with love and expertise. If you want reasonably priced, perfectly portioned, and fresh food this is the place to come. Nice chill spot with a casual atmosphere, great music, and 5 star restaurant quality food.

Amazing food, coffee and service! I’ve eaten here at least 3 times. I had different dishes each time (veggie omelet, vegan burger and Thai Peanut Tofu bowl) and enjoyed them all! I highly recommend this spot for working with their free wifi or for food and coffee.
