Bagels are still ok but overall this store could use some help
Let’s talk about the bagels – they are simply to die for. Chewy yet soft, with a perfect crust, they are hands down better than any competition in the area. Choosing a breakfast sandwich was no easy feat because each option sounded mouthwateringly delicious. Eventually, I settled on the Taylor pork sandwich and the Marigotta, both of which were absolute stars.
The Taylor pork sandwich was a symphony of flavors, with tender pork complemented by just the right amount of salty, smoky, and chersy. On the other hand, the Marigotta boasted a perfect balance of avocado and creamy elements that left me craving more.
Overall, Deke’s Bagels exceeded my expectations. The quality of their food, coupled with the welcoming atmosphere and friendly service, ensures that I’ll be returning again and again. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and pay them a visit. You won’t regret it.
Not much of an eat-in area. More of a pickup to go type place
Placed an order today online, was called that they were out. Went to the store and the doors were locked. Had to call, spoke to Deke and he kept on interrupting me. Please don’t be combative. I’ve worked in the customer service industry for years and you need to let your clients / customers speak. So I’m leaving what I wanted to say here as it fell on deaf ears.
Your shoreline people love you. Your bagels are fantastic, legit the best. But your lack of honesty will keep customers away. Simple as that. I loved your staff, especially Alonni. I hope you can make things right.
Until then, I’m done. Buyer beware.
