It has been a while since I’ve been to Chipotle, but I am not returning. At least not to the Cottonwood Chipotle.
The guy [? Philippine?] just rushes you through the line of choices. He does not seem to listen well. Amount of meet was skimpy and on top of that some was inedible due to the grisle. It felt mostly as a veggie bowl not a carne asada.
I think Chipotle needs to train their staff to be more consistent w their servings, and their service to every client. The burritos aren’t cheap. The least they can do is serve what you ask for. A disappointing meal for me this time 🙁

Worst portion of any Chipotle Ive ever been to. Went there because I was starving and ended up with half a burrito bowl. Paid full price and a tip. I would refrain from using mobile orders here. Going to have to find a 2nd dinner now.

this is the 2nd time this month we have ordered pickup and the have messed up the order twice! We have a family of 4 but 2 of the salads we have ordered got mixed up the 1st time we ordered. Tonight we decided to try it again but they continue to fail at the most simplest job. I pull up to the pick up window and the boy who was working looked miserable and was not greeting what so ever. I had ordered a salad & my salad came with no lettuce! This cottonwood location is so disappointing with how expensive this place is and having not only one awful experience but two in one month. never again.

I had a great experience, really loved the cleanliness, second the employees were fantastic really sweet both of them that were. There were kind and offered to help me as it was my first time there. And the food was on point . A gentleman let me try a taste of the chicken and right away I knew that’s what I wanted! I will definitely come back, my daughter is the one that told me about this place and it was definitely better than I had imagined.

The honey chipotle chicken tacos prepared by Caiman were of exceptional quality. The dish demonstrated a skillful balance of sweet and smoky flavors, with the chicken cooked to an optimal tenderness. Beyond the superior quality of the food, Caiman exhibited a courteous and positive demeanor throughout the service. His evident enjoyment in his work contributed positively to the overall experience. These tacos are highly recommended for their outstanding flavor profile and professional preparation.

I would say 10/10 recommend. Employees are always friendly and ready to help. Anytime I go (usually in the morning when I am off work) the restaurant is clean and well stocked and they’re always brining out fresh food.

Food is delicious. Friendly employees. Temperature inside restaurant was nice and cold (hopes it stays like that lol). This place opened 9/28 and I visited 9/30… lines were still pretty long but moved at a decent pace. I ordered a carnitas burrito no beans, no rice, add guacamole and queso. Lettuce and sour cream. Meat was delicious and flavorful (quite a bit of fatty pieces, I’m personally not a fan) but was enjoyable. My son also got a burrito but his was devoured before I could ask questions

Surly customer service, was barely acknowledged. Tried food there a few times and always lukewarm. The tables are dirty, trash cans all full, both restrooms completely out of toilet paper and paper towels, no air dryer. I definitely will not be returning. As others have said, much better options in town.

The slowest / most incompetent Chipotle I have ever been to. If you want to be frustrated and angry before you eat go here. There is basically an employee who consistently refuses to help when there is a line and just camps out at the register or in the back and watches with her mouth open. My family and I 5 people, another family of 4 and 2 guys were waiting to be served by one person as this girl just stood at the register.There is also another employee who is consistently there but not working. He is always walking around with his backpack talking to the girl standing at the register. I don’t know who manages this location but they should definitely train their employees on how to help customers or find new employees. I have been to this location 3 times and am finally fed up with the lackadaisical approach to customer service. I am never going back and will tell friends never to go to this location. This location must be managed by the same guy that manages Prescott Valley. Stay Away, Danger!

This location is consistently going downhill. The service has been poor for quite some time, and recently, the quality of the food and portions has become unacceptable. On our most recent visit, the staff member making our bowls gave us half a spoonful of carnitas, which was honestly shocking.
In past visits, the restaurant has also felt completely unprofessional, often run by what seems like a group of unsupervised teenagers. They blast profane rap music from the back and use foul language with each other loudly enough for everyone in the lobby to hear. It’s uncomfortable and inappropriate for a family dining environment.
It’s clear that this location suffers from a serious lack of management and leadership. We really enjoy Chipotle as a brand, but this specific location continues to disappoint. At this point, it’s hard to justify spending our hard-earned money here when the experience is consistently this bad.
