On a whim we stopped on our way back home from the Syracuse area. Wow, what a great find. Super friendly owner and staff. Great tap beer selection to start. Had a fave the Lake Placid Ubu Ale. Then we had the arugula salad which was fantastic. Nice dressing and shaved parm. The Cavallo Dono special pizza was outstanding with the portobello mushroom slices. Guy knows pizza that’s for sure. Must go again and try other selections. Worth the trip to see his imported wood burning pizza oven!!

Theres nothing that compares to real, wood fired pizza. This is THE ONE. Great selection of local craft beer and wine. 9 years of award for food truck says they know what they doing. Not sure what happened to Gchap and his smokey pies but we have never had anythimg but perfection when we visited. I guess when you run to the internet instead of trusting staff to handle an issue thats what happens. Staff cares immensely about the food AND the guest experience, and it shows in everything they do. Keep up the good work.

Mangia Macrina’s had zeroed in on exactly what they do, and they do it very well. They make small (basically single serve) wood fired pizzas. They are everything you could hope. Light, crispy crust with just enough chew, topped by a nice selection of cheese, sauce, and an interesting selection of meat and vegetable options.
They have a set menu, with dozens of options, and they do add and retire options periodically. Prices are good for what you get, typically in the$18-20 range per pizza. One pizza will comfortably feed an adult with a slice or two leftover. Sharing one between two diners may leave you wanting a little more. However, they do offer a couple of other items, including some salad options. I would be remiss if I did not mention the sauteed mushroom appetizer (served with seasoned flatbread) and the meatball sliders. The latter are spectacular, but go quick so order early.
All in all, a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere with excellent food and an excellent selection of beers. I highly recommend!

1st time visiting, my boyfriend & I are impressed. The food was 10/10 & came out hot/quick. You order at the counter, they give you a number, & bring the food right to your table. As a vegan, I really struggle to find good options in this area, but this place will be my go-to pizza spot moving forward! Sophia at the counter was doing an amazing job, even with it being busy & close to closing time. She handled everything with a positive attitude & really made the experience feel warm & welcoming.

Finally, I found the best pizza place in my town. From the moment you step into Mangia Macrina’s Wood Fired Pizzeria, the aroma of wood smoke and baking dough transports you straight to the bustling streets of Naples, Italy. This isn’t just pizza; it’s an experience, a testament to the art and tradition of Neapolitan pizza making. We ordered Margherita and Vesuvius and they were incredible. The staff were really knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely recommend. They have plenty of beverages options that can perfectly go with your meal.

Great place to get an authentic wood fired pizza!
We came in last night to get a couple of pizzas to go and how hard it was not to eat them in the car: the smell alone was amazing, but the taste when we came home was for sure something we will be back for!
From the crust to the toppings, this pizza was absolutely delicious – it was light yet it had so much flavor. We also appreciated how fresh everything was and that you can see the actual wood stove and that it’s being used (not just a prop).
The team was also very nice and friendly, we definitely will be back and would recommend it to our friends.

Mangia Macrina Pizza is hands-down my favorite pizza in town.
If you’re a fan of true Neapolitan-style pizza—thin, chewy crust with that perfect char, high-quality ingredients, and balanced flavors—this place nails it every time. The dough is light and airy, the sauce tastes like fresh tomatoes, and everything just feels thoughtfully made. It’s clear they care about doing it right.
Every time I eat here, I’m reminded why I love pizza in the first place. Can’t recommend it enough.

Great new location for this pizza place. I had eaten here back when they were across from Seneca liquors, but unfortunately they had a fire and it took way too long to get everything up and running again. This place is bigger, easier access, they have a great bar and a cozy restaurant. We had a standard margarita pizza and it was very tasty, I’ll be going back!
