Rainy-day comfort achieved! I had the tempura udon. The springy noodles in a soothing broth with tender fish cakes and a crunchy side of shrimp + veggie tempura (sweet potato, zucchini, mushroom, broccoli—so good) was so tasty. My partner’s bulgugi came in a generous portion; he wished for a bit more flavor but still cleaned the box and called the miso soup “perfect.” We split a milk tea that hit the spot. The place isn’t very big, but it feels cozy, has quick service, and an easy pick-me-up on a cold, wet day.

The portions were big, but that’s where me being impressed ends. My short ribs in my short ribs bowl was very salty and Definitely did not taste authentic. The mixture of fat and meat was good though. The vegetables were obviously frozen then steamed. The prices were quite high for the quality of food. Service was average, unsure why a tip was an option when it’s just a cashier/dishwasher and I assume the cook is paid based on the prices. There really isn’t any seating except for a few counter seating and their counter seating gives no impression of being welcoming.

Ryuu bowl never disappoints!! I have tried so many sushi places here in ANC, and they are hands down my go to whenever I’m craving some yummy goodness… give them a try, you won’t regret it!

Avocado and chips were nice! Chips a bit flaky different than normal Mexican tortilla but I enjoyed it. The bibimbap was awesome huge portions and the egg was oerfect. Lots of veggies too! The dumplings were my third favorite but still tasty!

Bulgogi was good, not the best but was good. The California roll was nice and creamy and would definitely get again or try another sushi roll from them. The cheesecake… was dry. I thought it was going to be oober creamy or very airy but it was neither. Plus I thought it was gonna be jalapeño flavored but it was actually just flavorless. I will raise the rating if and when we go back and I’ll try the fish since others say the fish is where it’s actually at. Customer service is very good and we ordered there and they finished our food in a good amount of time. Yes, very tiny establishment.

Small hidden gem. Great food. Not much for a dine in experience. But there is seating available. Try the Teriyaki bowl. Chicken yakisoba and lychee tea.

Friendly service. Place has a teen feel. I got the pork chop and it was not salty enough but the strawberry cheesecake was good. The peach tea also taste mature and Arizona tea like. Will come again mainly for desserts.

Lovely but super small interior. Don’t expect to bring the family for a sit down. There’s only a few stools and counter height tables that border the space.
Someone greeted me right away. The staff were friendly and helpful. I could see everyone working away in the back making everything fresh. They have a big menu with sushi, different rice/noodle bowls, and some fun appetizers.
I ordered the yakisoba and it was done perfectly. The noodles were lovely and it also came with carrots, cabbage, broccoli, onions, and zucchini.
I’ll be back for sure!
