Absolutely brilliant. Had some great pork and cabbage dumplings and a “not exactly Ma Po Tofu but almost”.
Everything hot, healthy, freshly prepared on the spot – just fantastic. Shame I’m going home to Singapore in a few weeks and I don’t live in Manchester!

This place was a fantastic discovery. Authentic Chinese food with a great variety of dishes. Tried Chinese Jasmin tea with honey, dumpling with a side dish of cabbage and and (sharer ) with chicken legs, duck tongues, cabbage and cucumber. I could also pay with WeChat 微信, which added to the fabulous experience

Me and a friend came in to eat and it seemed that was an inconvenience, it is apparent that white people are not very wanted here, we noticed how friendly the lady server was to the Chinese clients and she was extremely rude an impatient with us, our questions were answered very abruptly and she was very unhelpful, she couldn’t even crack a smile. There was no reason for her to treat us this way as we were very polite and well mannered. This was the second visit, the first time we experienced similar treatment but just of brushed it off. After being treated like this a second time we definitely will not return. Its a shame as the food was very tasty. How sad to be treated like this in the same country you were born. Especially in 2025

Enjoyed the nice food at Napoleons Restaurant, from roasted skewers of coriander, chives buns, spicy beef knife-cut noodles, Grilled Eel rice bowl, Hot Chilli Century Egg, Sichuan Style Fish Fillet With Pickled Vegetables, fried taro rolls, grilled squid with cumin and five spice, Marinade Duck Tongue in Red Hot Szechuan Chilli Sauce. There is plenty to try at this restaurant, and if you are looking for spicy food or Sichuan cuisine, this would be worth a try every once in a while. Your spicy tolerance would definitely get elevated if you truly like hot flavoured dishes.

Second time back and still delicious. There isn’t much atmosphere or service to talk about. I think people are here for the food anyways because I don’t think there is much restaurants that do liuzhou river snail rice noodles. We also got rice cake and chicken gizzard skewers which were very yummy

Me and my friend went into the restaurant in the basement on a whim. The menu is quite confusing and they barely speak English, there was a meal called “Hairy salt belly” but we got beef noodles and salt and pepper ribs and it was delicious. The place had an interesting vibe but I think they mostly get Chinese customers.
