Would not recommend to get a cake here. I’ve ordered cakes in the past and they don’t seem to look like what i ordered. My cousin recently got her birthday cake and looked nothing like what she asked for. The lady even had a picture and told my aunt they’re not sure they can do the gold but never said they can’t make it the same pink she asked for. When my aunt called the lady became defensive immediately and did not even try to help or create another solution. She said since we had left the store we couldn’t do anything, although my aunt said it looked off inside the store, the lady said they couldn’t make it a lighter pink even though my other cousin has got a light pink cake in the past here. The cake looks horrible, very sloppy, and doesn’t even look like they made effort to make it cute. My aunt spent 61 dollars on a cake that looks terrible and my cousin is very unhappy on her birthday.

Been going since I was young with my dad and the lady working there was always so kind to us and the cakes and everything was always so good I don’t go as often anymore as I don’t live around there anymore but any time I go back to la habra I make sure to stop by here and it just brings me back to my childhood and the cakes are as delicious as always! I sometimes wish they had a recipe book so I could have their pastries at home more often

just stopped by because I read some good reviews. To say that I was disappointed is an understatement. I payed 7.50 for 6 pieces of sweet bread which would have been fine if the bread didn’t taste like it had been siting here for a couple of days. I’ve had better bread at Superior market. That is saying a lot. live and learn I guess.

I needed a cake at the last minute for my sons birthday. (Long story) lol….Anyway I called and asked if they had a Strawberry cake that I could come pick up? The man on the phone said yes. I drove over right away. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a warm good afternoon. I stated I was the one that just called for the strawberry cake. Without hesitation the gentleman came out and pointed to the excellent looking cake. The man even asked me “what is it for a birthday or something special”? I didn’t even have to tell him it was a special occasion. I told him it was for my sons birthday. The gentleman handed me a pen and said write his name down. I just expected them to write his name on the cake. When the lady brought the cake out you would have thought I ordered it! His name was written on it in red to coordinate with the strawberry. AND there was a nice birthday trinket that said happy birthday. AND there where 3 chocolate covered strawberries added! I was very pleased with the look. Now as far as the taste. WOW!!!!!The cake was excellent! My son loved it. I will be back to go try other goodies I saw while I was waiting. A+++++

I just came from Carmen’s Bakery. The staff was absolutly awesome! Picked up a Tres Leches cake for a 4th of July party. The owner found out that it was my first time there and gave me a sample of an almond cookie. Best almond cookie I’ve ever had. Very fresh. I absolutely love supporting local business. I will be back for more.

We used to recomended this place all the time for the good quality of bread, cake and others. So good, so fresh and well worthed to pay for the price. Still Rosca our favorite love it! Can’t give them a 5 because over the years it started changing flavor of daily bread. Bolillos are not my favorite any more. They taste same as teleras and over price.
I still like cakes and pastries.
