Rice was old and dry very dried out. Chicken literally had freezer burns and no chicken inside. Just greasy old batter and the egg roll taste like stale fish. The menu said $7.95 he charged me $8.95. I tipped a $1.00 since I picked up. So $10 for lunch. I called the gentleman he was very nice and offered to give me my money back but I am at work and it is 20 minutes away. Not worth the drive. It’s sad that people take lunch time and stay without eating because of irresponsible restaurant owners that serve gross food.

I ordered Krab Rangoon , beef & broccoli, wonton soup, chicken & broccoli general tso, chicken, pork friend rice, eggrolls, and I think I’ve had better microwavable Chinese food from Walmart . I normally go to New China on Himes, but they’re closed on Mondays so I figured I would try this place out. Worst mistake. I’ve ever made this stuff. Taste like garbage no flavor poorly proportioned. Some of it didn’t even look cooked properly. Honestly, the worst Chinese food takeout I’ve ever ordered in my life. I think the only good thing they didn’t screw up is the pork fried rice out of everything even the eggrolls were disgusting

There was larvae in my food, my chicken broccoli, that was like almost 2 weeks ago, but I rather put this review to save yall the trouble of eating bugs and getting sick like I did. At first I thought it was a piece of the broccoli till I cleaned it up and saw the actual body of the larvae. And I got a picture and vids to proof it, that was very disgusting and disturbing, after working a long shift and the first meal u get, have bugs, this place should’ve been shut down, idk why inspection didn’t do their job bc I def called and filled a report.

3 tables who cares this place is amazing!!! 20 stars amazing service her and her husband are the best in Tampa. This place has top of the line real Chinese food and eggs and vegetables are delicious. Sweet in sour sauce is the best I’ve ever tried. Thank you!!! Oh and the rice is like the most authentic Chinese rice is so good. (Recommend the egg fried rice with broccoli)7

Worst Chinese food ever. I used to live in the area and I think I used to go to China 1 and I it must have been ok because if they had food like the food I just had I would remember. Maybe the food has gone south since the Winn Dixie closed or maybe I am misremembering and I had not been. But I ordered general Taos chicken for lunch. It came with an egg roll. Even bad egg rolls to me are good. But this egg roll tasted like it was off like way off. Like it was in the fridge for a month and they freshly fried it. The insides were red. The oil tasted beyond rancid. I am not really opposed to eating sketchy mystery meat Chinese food but this was terrible and old and I hate to think about how the food was handled before I got it. I tried the rice and chicken and it had the same 1000 year oil and very rancid flavor. I hope I don’t get sick. To add insult to injury it was so terrible I had to throw it out but I was at work and had to throw it out into my personal work wastebasket so I had to smell it all day while working and it made my stomach turn.

This is my absolute favorite Chinese Take Out restaurant. The owners are so kind, the food is made to order and good quality ingredients. They don’t judge my weird order, and are pretty reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. They’re also consistent, which is important when you want comfort food.

I’ve been coming to this location for years because of how consistent they are with their food. I typically get the lunch special but a few times I’ve been working late and ordered other things off the menu. Food is done fast. Everything is hot. They’ve never given me any trouble with substitutions. I feel it is a good value. Will keep coming back.
