I’m way overdue on leaving a review here. We love Ginny Bites! It’s my favorite place to get emotional support cookies (aka cream cheese crinkle cookies), and there are numerous treats my son loves here (he highly approves of the Chilly Wop drink for breakfast and love the ‘veggie’ cookies ). My father will tell you her key lime pies are the best he’s ever had. The lemon meringue is delicious too! We also love that she sells Dirty Chips (the only brand of potato chip I actually like). I also love that Ginny is friendly, down-to-earth, and approachable. BUT, let’s talk about her cakes. I gave her some inspiration photos for my son’s 6th birthday party, and she did not disappoint! It was incredible, next-level creativity! Can’t wait to see how we top it at his next birthday.

Ginny is absolutely incredible to work with! Not only is she so fun and creative, but her desserts are pure magic. For our New Orleans–themed celebration dinner with 150 guests, she crafted five different varieties of cupcakes that captured the spirit of New Orleans perfectly. Every bite was delicious, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about them all night long! She also designed our wedding cake, which was not only decadent but truly flawless. Her desserts weren’t just treats—they were a highlight of the entire evening!

I cannot say enough about.how wonderful Ginny Bites is! I needed to stop at Schmidtt Music and was lured in by the wonderful smell of baked goods. We first tried the cinnamon rolls and had to go back for more! Added the individual chocolate cakes (delicious), the kentucky peacan pie (amazing) and the raspberry Cheesecake dessert (heavenly). Couple that with the charming atmosphere and fantastic service and you will find yourselves returning, like we have!

Excellent little bakery that also has some very tasty, Southern inspired soups and sandwiches. Haven’t had an authentic Muffuletta in years and was quite surprised to see it on the menu! Olive Salad is delicious packs a good bit of heat and tasty olive oil. Very generous amount of Italian deli Mortadella and Salami. Only wish the wonderfully chewy Ciabatta bun would jave been toasted as the bread was cold. Loved the Strawberry Lemonade Cheesecake cup but, the Key Lime is positively ADDICTING! Make sure to also grab a couple of cookies to go on your way out. Bet they won’t make it to your car! Will make it a point to stop back whenever we’re in Anoka. Thanks for the Herban Wolf tip! We’ve been there too and love the different twists. That was our second choice if you didn’t have the Muffuletta. Just had the leftover for lunch! Delicious!

We were in Anoka to get my son’s trombone repaired and stopped in Ginny’s to grab a quick lunch. We each ordered the chicken salad croissant, but it was such a generous size that we ended up splitting it and taking the other one to go. It was SO delicious! On our way out we grabbed some sweets to enjoy at home too. This bakery is so cute and welcoming that I could have easily spent the entire afternoon there! We will definitely be back!

I love small businesses, but I am not sure what the vibe is at this establishment, Key West? It felt like it should be in uptown. I do want to say the owner was very nice. The people that I saw in her store were the eccentric type. I tried her drink special with syrup. I would not go out of my way for it. My family sampled it and did not care for it.
I did try the owner’s favorite Scoopable Key Lime Pie. It was tasty. But, again, I would not go out of my way for it.
Perhaps I should have sampled more. The bars looked good. But, she was very limited on items in the glass cases.
Maybe I am just missing something here. Maybe give it a try out of curiosity.

I stopped in a few weeks ago and got a peach muffin. It was DELICIOUS! It was made with real peaches and tasted like a real fruit muffin instead of something prepackaged, frozen and thawed, or just an overly sweet, cupcake like muffin. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
I also got a major bonus because somebody called in and paid for cookies for the first 20 customers or something like that! So I got to try an AMAZING sugar cookie (I think that’s what it was, it’s been a little bit so I don’t remember for sure). It was sweet, soft and a great surprise treat!
The woman at the counter was very helpful and kind!
Love the shop too. They have lots of neat foods/sauces/kits to bring home (see pictures for examples). I will definitely be back to support this great local bakery/shop!

Get the pie and forget the rest. I bought treats for my staff. This place has great reviews. They didn’t have much at 11 am on a Thursday but I picked out several different treats. The cashier was delightful and welcoming. The key lime pie was the highlight for my staff. Perfectly tart and creamy and as you can see from the photo, it went pretty fast. Would 10/10 buy again. The cinnamon rolls were very good. Soft and with a great flavor. The pineapple upside down cake had a great flavor but the cake was dry. Sadly, I will never buy cupcakes from here again. They looked delicious but as you can see from the photo, no-one could get the wrapper off in one swoop. They had to peel it off in pieces. The Oreo cupcakes themselves were chewy and I guess the frosting had a weird texture. Would I go here again? Absolutely for the pie.

Ginny customized an apple pie for me on rather short notice. My partner’s dad loved it! It made his 70th so special. It was beautiful, delicious, and fresh. And the best part: not too sweet. Thanks so much!
