I’ve had 3 burritos from Patricia’s and they were all very delicious! Only complaint would be the price. $15 for a burrito. And it’s not a big burrito. Sometimes you get a a few French fries, sliced radishes, and pickled onions on the side. Sometimes, you don’t. If it was cheaper, or had larger portions I’d go much more regularly. Food trucks are what I’m exploring now to find that.

Really amazing market and kinda taqueria on Madison’s north side! A full Mexican grocery with deli items to go and hot food made to order! Fresh horchata as well. Def will be back!
So desperately wanted to give it 5 stars but a few items on our to go order was wrong/missing. Food was really good tho, Pastor tacos were my favorite and the quesadilla was huge and really good!

Welcome to the North side! I had stopped in last week already hungry for tacos. This weekend (11/13) is the first weekend serving food at this location.
I came in and asked for whatever it was they recommended and ended up ordering an extra beef and lengua taco to add on to my to-go carnitas taco dinner that included rice and beans. I was not disappointed. Well layered and seasoned tacos with fresh onions and cilantro went down easily. The lengua was mild in flavor and warm but not hot to the touch. An acquired taste and texture for sure, but I feel like it was further off the back burner than the beef and carnitas tacos I inhaled. The beans and rice made for a nice compliment to the meal.
While waiting for my order to finish, I perused the market and ended up picking up and getting back into line to pay for fresh guacamole and chips. At this moment, I’m still stuffing my face with as much of that guac as possible. Great balance of acidity and spice.
I grabbed my food and stood in line for 5 minutes or so while others were ordering in front of me. Here are my takeaways on their first weekend serving food:
1.) be patient – there’s currently only one area where purchases in the market and food orders can be placed.
2.) try everything – I’ll be eating my way through this menu (that’s priced reasonably for the market).
3.) if you are making market purchases, do it at the same time as your food order.
I’m happy to see this open on the North side of Madison and with hours (currently 8am-9pm) you can guarantee a visit back here again.

Amazing! This new place has a grocery/snack section with great treats, a deli section with fresh meats and house made food, and a little restaurant (including indoor seating)! The chicken quesadilla blew me away; I’d highly recommend trying it. The prices are reasonable, everyone there is very kind, and the food is phenomenal. I’d absolutely recommend visiting this great new market!

They should change their tamales provider, or change the name of the tamales from pork/chicken tamales to corn dough tamales, they have no meat inside, shame !! And always the same so isn’t a mistake their provider does this in purpose, will never go to get tamales there. Very expensive to be only corn dough and no meat inside. There are a lot of people making great tamales around, seriously change your provider which is giving you bad reputation.
Muy malos tamales son solo masa!!! Muy caros para comer solo masa.
