Before I support my rating, I will say that the wait staff was beyond awesome. Extremely courteous and prompt. However…the ahi sashimi looked like aku – maroon in color. Upon closer inspection, we realized that the gray/brown portion (denoting old age) had been poorly attempted at being cut away. Oh well, I just thought we just won’t eat it. Moving on to the sushi. Tempura center, poke topped, heavy round onions…looked absolutely wonderful. As I picked up a piece, I noticed the poke was just as old as the sashimi (yes, should have known it was the same cut and no, it wasn’t due to shoyu infused)

First time eating there… the food was great. However, I wish there was more options to meat and other foods to add in. Also, the hamachi sashimi was great and it was on the specials, I wish they had more sashimi or sushi because it’s my fav I expected more sashimi to be on the menu. Overall , it’s a really cute place to eat with someone for a small or quick lunch . It’s barely busy as well .

Sushi only on select days so check ahead. They have a kids menu that even my picky lil eater enjoyed.
Monday towards the end of happy hour was kinda slow so best time to chill and get a really good deal on pupu’s!! HH has both drinks and food specials

Spacious Japanese Restaurant. Not so much choices on their menu. Their opakapaka teishoku was pretty good. They might forget to place the utensils on the table so service is just okay. No problem with parking ’cause it is located at a shopping center. But if you’re looking for something different at Ewa Beach, you can definitely try this place out. Price is reasonable.

Welcoming and friendly service. Ordered the ribeye and onion teishoku. Housemade kim chee and japanese cucumber were ‘ono. Crispy tempura appetizer (5 pcs). No complaints from the littlest diners among us.
