My husband and I had our wedding ceremony, reception, dinner, and dance at the KC Joe’s 180 Room in September 2025. Jen, the catering manager, and the entire staff were amazing. Jen was easy to work with. She was attentive and paid great care to all of the little things to make the event wonderful. Jen and staff (and some of my girlfriends) set the room for the ceremony perfectly, and the change over Jen and the staff did from the ceremony to the reception and dinner was perfect. We were able to pair our phones with the AV equipment and play music and dance after the dinner. We had about 65 guests, and everyone raved about the event, from the beauty of the space, to the drinks and bartenders, to the delicious food. It was sincerely a treat to be able to have everything here in 1 spot for all of our guests. They really enjoyed the afternoon and evening. I’m very grateful to the KC Joe’s and 180 Room staff. Thank you for making our big day so beautiful and memorable. Note, the mason jars w/fairy lights and flowers on the tables and the flower ring for the ceremony were ours, but the table cloths, lanterns, and small candles were The 180’s. It was great to incorporate our decor with theirs, and the warmth and beauty of the space really added to the ambience.

We held our son’s rehearsal dinner at The 180 Room (about 45 people). It was the perfect venue. The food was great (from Kansas City Joe’s next door), the staff went out of their way to help with all the mechanics of this type of event, and the price (even with alcohol) was less than we had budgeted. We came into town to have my Dad’s 80th birthday party here, close to where our family lives. We originally planned this party for the beginning of April 2020. Due to Covid it was postponed for two years. The folks at The 180 Room were great with us and the delay. We ended up having a 80th+2 birthday party and it was a fabulous night!
I can not say enough nice things about Jen, Elisha and the crew who worked the event for us. We had about 55 people there and everyone had a wonderful time. From planning to implementation everything was perfect. We added flowers and decorations, we had a favors and cards table, photo booth, cake table and a slide show of my Dad on all six televisions. We even played his favorite music via Pandora from my computer plugged into their system. It all worked perfectly. Ok, let’s talk food. Wow! So long as you are a meat eater, you will be really thrilled with the spread. I only say meat eater because if there was anywhere they could have improved, it was the vegan option. Plenty of great vegetarian choices. We had grilled veggies, cheese platter and shrimp for appetizers. All absolutely fabulous! We had a large variety of salad, sides and BBQ meats for everyone to choose from. It was over the top great and with VERY generous portions. We brought in a cake from LeAnn at Next Level Cakery that was perfect for the event. The 180 Room offered cake cutting service to us as well. The bar. The bar is absolutely beautiful. We hand picked the wine and they had many great choices of beer and cocktails. No one ever had to wait for a drink. The bar keeper was even great at suggested drinks. Just impeccable service.
This is an event my family will remember for a very long time to come. Everyone was just amazed with the venue and raved non-stop about the night. I highly recommend having your event here. They will go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience.

This is a great place for a company meeting. It’s a very nice room and It holds up to 100 people. There were 5 or more to monitors on the walls so the presentation could be seen from any seat in the room.
Our event was pretty last minute and the coordinator was very flexible in helping us get what we wanted.
And of course the best part was we got to eat Joe’s BBQ! The food was good as always. Our meeting ran over 30 minutes but the food was still hot and good.

We had a truly phenomenal experience at the 180 Room from start to finish. Jen, the Event Sales Manager, made reserving the room and preparing the venue for our guests phenomenally easy, sometimes answering emails within two minutes of me sending them. Our staff, Ivan and Stephanie, were both professional and unobtrusive and happy to help us with our full meal and the dietary concerns of some of our guests. Aaron, our bartender, was personable and also did some of the best pours I’ve ever experienced for mixed drinks. The food is KC Joes so it goes without saying that it was perfect. I am thrilled that we picked the 180 Room for our event and I would gladly do so again. Thank you so much for everything that you do!

I used the 180 room for our “reception” dinner after getting married in Hawaii. I honestly wish I could give them a higher rating than 5 stars because they made everything SO easy and the venue is just incredible that you don’t even need a lot of decorations. The food was phenomenal and the staff was even better. Everyone was so helpful and very accommodating. I had the best time of my life here and I would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat! Don’t even think about it and just use the 180 Room. Thanks again you guys!

We recently had a small informal wedding and reception at the The 180 Room. What a great place with excellent service and fabulous food. The atmosphere was perfect for us. It is a hidden gem in Olathe. Jen took care of everything and was so easy to work with.
