Italian cuisine. Mexican. American. This place is a family owned spot with amazing food. A must try. I was pleasantly surprised and will continue to frequent. Breakfast is fresh and not greasy. Lunch: Salads are crisp and fresh. Wraps and cheese steaks- amazing. I had dinner chicken marsala last week – absolutely delish. Definitely give it a try. Don’t let the outside fool you, stepping inside it is one of the cleanest eateries I have ever visited.
The owner/server/chef obviously takes immense pride in his craft as everything is made from scratch from the bread that the excellent tortas are served on to the creamy vodka sauce and the hot sauces. When asked what what chilli was in the hot sauce the owner was excited to bring out a giant bag of arbol peppers to show us.
Can’t give this place enough stars. I highly recommend checking this place out you will not be disappointed.

My manager bought us dinner from here for delivery last night, this is the beef tacos absolutely amazing. I love that it was like steak meat and not ground beef. Woukd definitely order again and eat at.

Romano’s is the standard barrier in which other dine-in restaurants should be judged. From the moment you walk inside you’ll be treated as if you are a member of their family.
We were promptly greeted and shown to our seats, provided with menus and our drink orders taken. We ordered the ‘Taco Pizza’ which is incredible. The amount of toppings to crust ratio is right on point. I don’t normally care for a thin, crispy crust on a pizza, but Romano’s is the perfect crust for this Taco Pizza. It’s topped with fresh ingredients and served with both a red & green sauce on the side. While both are rather tasty, you may want to drizzle both on your slice, combine the flavors and boost the already incredible pizza flavors.
We were there late in the day and never felt rushed as the clock ticked closer to the posted closing time. In fact, other customers arrived within 15 min of closing time and were greeted in the same manner as we were and promptly seated. We ordered ‘Zeppole’ for dessert and they were mouthwatering delicious, served hot & freshly prepared. Recommend. Oh, and our drinks never ran empty and were refilled promptly. Eating at Romano’s on 09 Aug, 2023 was a top tier experience. You should put them on your list of places to eat when in this area.

Stopped here for the first time while attending to some business in Dover. The building itself could use some updating, but the service and food were worth the stop. They have an Italian and a Mexican menu. We got tomato pie and garlic knots. The service was great and the food was good. Will visit again.

I just had the most delightful experience at Romano’s Family Mexican & Italian Restaurant! The place was spotless, the breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the prices were unbeatable! Plus, the fresh hot coffee was a perfect touch. The service? Simply outstanding! Can’t wait to go back!

Waiter brought mains while we were half way through our starters. I ordered the prime rib and this was what came. Was awful. Prime rib was $24 dollars also. The calamari for starters was nice though.

Did not realize that this place does most of their business online so the restaurant itself was empty. The staff were still polite and helpful and the food was DELICIOUS so I will probably be going back for another quiet-dining experience.

This was the first time I had been to Romano’s and it was absolutely worth it! I had calamari, mushrooms, spaghetti and meatballs. The flavor of the marinara sauce was so fresh and light and well seasoned. My calamari was cooked perfectly, mushrooms nicely breaded and cooked to perfection. The bread and salad that came with my meal were also tasty. I will be coming back!
