I was in the area and stopped in for some noodles. The waitress was super friendly and gave us some tea even though it wasn’t on the menu. Stuck in the middle of the suburbs surrounded by mall people, this place is delightful. We had spicy green beans, shrimp fried rice and Cantonese noodles. All were delicious and very generous portions. So many of these tiny joints are for take out only, and the waitress was almost shocked we wanted to dine in, these days of Uber everything, but Hakka Impression has comfortable seating and is a nostalgic Chinese food experience. I will be coming here next time I’m visiting Suburbia! So hard to get decent asian in downtown Hamilton anymore.

First time coming here after reading the reviews. Was very impressed with how fresh and tasty everything was. We dined in. Place was fairly clean and quite busy with lots of orders coming in. There is a small space for people that want to dine it. Staff is friendly and kind. Serves halal food.
Ordered schezuan chicken fried rice, chilli chicken and the crispy beef. Everything was delicious and tasty. We really enjoyed the crispy beef!!! Definitely recommend people to check out this spot and will be returning.

Fourth “Hakka” style restaurant I’ve tried in Burlington. This one tops them all. Made to order, fresh, flavorful, generous portions, and well priced. Seems to be family owned and operated. Lots of attention and care put into the food as you can taste it. Hope to be back to try more of their menu. Definitely a must try.

Had a great meal at Hakka Impression. The noodles were tasty, the appetizers were crispy and flavorful, and the tea was a nice touch. Friendly service and cozy atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!

Went here on a whim last night and was impressed. Some of the reviews below say the food wasn’t crispy when advertised: I think they may have waited too long to eat their takeout. I got crispy beef and masala chicken and both were very flavourful and gave you a lot for the cost. You can spend $15 and get a good sized meal. NOTE when you get a meat item it comes with rice. The crispy beef was indeed crispy and the sauce was delicious. Service was quick. Will definitely return.

Been longing for a good Hakka restaurant in this area. Tried it a couple of weeks ago and it was very good. Great gravy on the Chilli Chicken. I’d probably ask for more spice next time but the food exceeded my expectations. I’m picky for a well made fried rice with good wok flavor and mine was great.
Staff were very happy, helpful and friendly. I’ll be coming to this place regularly and will be bringing/telling others about it for sure.

My partner and I ordered the Hakka Chow Mein with mixed meat and the Manchurian Chicken. We enjoyed the noodles and the portion was very generous (plenty of leftovers!). The chow mein had a bit of warmth, but still mild enough for someone who doesn’t normally go for spicy food. The Manchurian Chicken was more seasoned and had a much bigger kick compared to the noodles. We had the option to order the chicken dry or in a gravy and we opted for dry seasoning, assuming the spices would be more concentrated. We both thought the Manchurian Chicken was the standout dish and enjoyed as the heat built up without reaching the point of being overwhelming. Overall we thought the food was pretty decent and look forward to trying other menu items in the future.

Hakka Impression in Burlington is a gem! The food was 10/10 — amazing quality and very generous portions. It’s hard to find great food in Burlington that’s both affordable and delicious, but this place nailed it. I got the sesame chicken and chicken fried rice, and everything was super tasty. I’ll definitely be returning!
