Located in the Olive and Pine mixed use market. This place was suggested to me by the coffee shop next door. I approached the counter and reviewed the menu. With their set up you can look right into the open kitchen and see everything is made fresh. The display case had many sweet and savory options for sale. I thought one was a bagel with bacon and cheese, but it was actually a savory danish with cheese and onions. I ended up ordering the Leftie’s Egg sandwich. The sandwich comes with eggs, cheese, kimchi mayo, and I added bacon. The friendly young lady at the counter definitely co-signed that the sandwich was a good choice. She rang me up and I thought it was kind of expensive, $20 for a breakfast sandwich. I waited for a few minutes and they called my name. The food was ready super quick. I picked it up at the counter and headed over to one of the open tables in the common space. I opened up my container and was surprised to see roast potatoes in addition to my sandwich. Initially I thought the sandwich would be too much for one sitting, but it turned out to be just right. It was delicious and the roasted potatoes were hot, fresh and crunchy. I chatted with another customer who informed me she always stops here when she is in town. She ordered the chicken breakfast sandwich with a runny egg on top and was raving about it. Leftie is a little pricey, but the food is delicious.

Incredible chicken biscuits and gravy. The gravy complements the Korean fried chicken and kimchi biscuit very well, it doesn’t overpower it. Chicken is fried very well. Very flavorful. The pimento cheese Serrano pepper danish is like a non spicy jalapeño popper. Definitely ask for it warmed. Great addition to Avondale!

My wife and I stopped in after seeing the place on an episode of triple D. And the food did not disappoint, my wife had the Korean fried chicken and kimchi biscuits and gravy. I had the Korean braised beef sandwich with crispy potatoes and both were amazing.

Had a quick Friday lunch with a friend. We both had the Korean Fried Chicken sandwich and it was unbelievable; how they manage to get it that crunch and maintain the juicy chicken inside is beyond me. And the roasted potatoes that came with it were equally amazing, being nice and crispy on the outside but the insides were perfectly cooked, like a baked potato. And the dipping sauce was great as well!

The potatoes on the side of the egg sandwich tasted like each one was individually charred to perfection. Nice crunch, just delicious. Gotta try the olive oil muffin. I’ve never heard of one and now they are in my top ten.

I was hungry, and the waffle house line was ridiculously long. Found this hidden gem. OMG, the Korean fried chicken biscuit and gravy exploded in my mouth with its perfect blend of seasoning and was fried to my extra crunchy satisfaction. I’ll be back whenever I’m in the neighborhood.

One of my most favorite bakeries! Their ham and cheese croissant is the best I’ve ever had in my life! I love the salted sesame egg wash that they add on the crust. The potato cheese was also very good with the perfect balance of seasonings. I can’t wait to dine in and try some of their prepared meals. You have to experience this place! Your life will be changed!

My husband and I tried their signature dishes, Korean Braised Beef sandwich and the Korean Fried Chicken over Kimchi Biscuits. Both are so mind blowing, full of flavors that marry together deliciously, the chicken was so nice and crispy, and the true testament to their flavor was my husband loving the kimchi biscuit when he doesn’t even like kimchi. Please give this place a try, they really are amazing.
