We ate lunch here and this will be my new favorite place to eat. I had the lunch chicken fajita nachos. They were absolutely delicious. My husband had steak fajitas. He said they were good. Our service was excellent. We had dinner here a week ago. Both had enchiladas then. They were also excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant

What a great experience! First time trying La Carreta and trust me when i say… Great flavor, great service and what a beautiful restaurant. We tried several popular dishes like the House Ceviche, Pollo a la Carreta, Cancun special.. but the star of the night has to be the Molcajete! What a great find! For a great time try the Margarita tower. MUST TRY. 9.6/10!

First off, food, best Mexican food in Stillwater, but that’s the only good thing I have to say.

I eat here at least once every 2 weeks, and sometimes more often. So I’m a pretty frequent flyer. For some reason I can never get Togo orders right. Forgetting queso, forgetting entire taco entrees. Orders taking 20+ minutes after the estimated time of readiness. Being completely ignored as you wait for extended times. Their pick up service flat out sucks. The thoroughness for Togo orders is vastly different compared to dinning in. Even after returning to pick up a taco entree that was forgotten, there was no apology and little effort to appease the mistake. Food was made hastily and shoved out the door.

It should be a disgrace to serve tacos without even the option of a lime included in your meal. As result I’ve gone to Walmart and bought a bottle of lime juice that way when they forget the limes, I still have an option. But the principle of the point being I shouldn’t have to keep back up lime juice, which is not the same as normal fresh lime.

Again, if the food itself wasn’t so good, I’d never step foot in the building again. I’ve had to take breaks from this location due to their service, but the food itself is worth the abuse you go through to get the service you need.

Outstanding food. I got the chimichanga, which is what I set a Mexican restaurant standards by. It was great. The portions are large. The salsa was great as was the queso. It’s the best food this place has had and it’s been a lot of different Mexican food restaurants.

I highly recommend eating there. The bathroom was also very clean, which is rare at a lot of places. If the bathroom is dirty, so is the kitchen.

The place looks so clean, the workers are so friendly and the food it’s so delicious!
I ordered the asada street tacos and the flavor is the most authentic Mexican I have tried in the area. My daughter ordered the house ceviche and she finished all of it. I’ll be coming back very soon!

I usually don’t leave poor reviews , but I feel compelled to share my recent experience. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we were being treated differently — and not in a good way.
We were served salsa that had an overwhelming amount of salt, making it nearly inedible. It tasted like someone had accidentally poured salt directly into it. The server appeared nervous and avoided engaging with us, which made us uncomfortable. Our drink refills were significantly delayed, and several of our orders were either wrong or completely forgotten.
Sadly, it’s hard not to feel like we were treated this way because of our race. While I hope that’s not the case, the difference in how other tables were treated compared to us was noticeable and disheartening.
Everyone deserves respectful service regardless of background. I sincerely hope this was an isolated incident, but it’s worth mentioning so the restaurant can reflect and make changes where needed. Very disappointing

I brought my family to eat and in one of the plates there was a hair and the guy that was our server said or implied that the hair was my wife’s and said oh we don’t have anyone with gray hairs working here. In conclusion I was not satisfied with my food at all.

My favorite mexican food place!! You simply cannot beat the price and the food tastes fantastic. I get the Hawaiian Fajitas which is steak, chicken, shrimp, and peppers all cooked and served in a pineapple for just $15!!! I have never been disappointed here and after visiting 5+ times, I figured I should leave a review.

As your walking up to the front door, the smell of clogged drains is very strong, so stinky. Chips and salsa, ok..salsa tasted like Pace. I ordered Birria, which was very dry because there was no melted cheese on them at all??? I got 3 small tacos and ate 1.5 of them. Husband got enchiladas and topping were VERY scarce. Its off our list of places to eat in Stilly. There is a BUNCH of room for improvement!! Also, server was invisible most of our meal. No Bueno
