I am NOT a BBQ fan, or at least it’s lower on my list of foods to enjoy BUT, Emeralds Touch BBQ is AMAZING! There ribs are the best in the city I think and their sides a great too. The Collard Greens, Cabbage, Mac & Cheese and Baked Beans and awesome! They have specials like OX Tails from time to time and they are so yummy. They also have sasauge dogs, brisket and chopped BBQ. Definitely a place to have lunch or and early dinner!

The Emerald Touch in Columbus, GA serves some of the best BBQ around. The meat is tender, flavorful, and cooked just right, with a great smoky taste in every bite. The sides are delicious, and the service is friendly and welcoming. If you’re craving good barbecue, this place is definitely worth it. Especially when the young man that yelled New Soldier in the house, and the guys in the back started a chant to welcomed Dylan he had just graduated that day from The Army. Pretty amazing place.

A great experience all-around! The restaurant is very cool looking, and the service was super friendly and helpful. The ribs and chopped pork were delicious: great seasoning, yummy sauce, perfectly smoked, and juicy. The Jamaican cabbage (fried cabbage with bacon) was awesome, the Mac and cheese was perfect, and the potato salad was great. This is a welcome addition to the neighborhood for sure! And I heard that they’re expanding into the space next door to add dine-in seating.

OK Columbus…..your BBQ joints have a new contender. I was absolutely blown away by this amazing food. The chicken was amazing, flavorful, and moist. The flavors melted all the way through and had excellent flavor in every bite.
I got absolutely lost in the sides. They were the best I’ve had in years at a restaurant. I felt like I was at Grandpa’s backyard bar-b-que with grandma making the sides. You can tell they take pride in the quality, quantity, and ingredients.
The mac n cheese will have you begging for more. The collards were perfect. They have fried green tomatoes coming to the menu, and they are excellent as well.
The staff will make you feel right at home. They were courteous, accommodating, and attentive.
As always, I’ll throw in any cons I observed………other than the drink selection when I was there, I can’t think of anything. It was a super enjoyable meal. The sweet tea was just right.
It’s hard to find a place that shows pride in what they do. They hit the mark….and the prices are well within range of what you’d expect. For what you actually get…..it’s a bargain.
I had to try the banana pudding……I was OMG!!! That’s all I’ll say.
I see me enjoying this establishment for years to come….hope you do too.

We had a large catering from this wonderful place. Brisket, pulled pork mac and chesse, ribs. All were delicious. I was really impressed with the pulled pork and brisket.
We came from Canada and definitely miss our smoking, but coming here with this wonderful family was a great experience.
Overall, great service, great family, and great eats.

Excellent flavor and portions! Very clean and nicely decorated. Most fun ordering experience ever…tell them if you are first timer! Chef introduced himself which added to the warm, positive feeling of this establishment.

So glad me and my family found this BBQ gem. We love to support the mom and pops of the community. This is a family owned business that really impressed us. 1.The website was quite appealing. 2. The customer service was wonderful. We were warmly welcomed by a signature greeting. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. 3. Last, but most certainly not least, the food was superb. It came to us quickly and was hot. I had the smoked chicken plate. The chicken was well seasoned. It didn’t need any sauce, but the sauce took it to the moon. One of my sides was mac&cheese. It was very good. My other side was Jamaican cabbage and let me you…it had me say Jamaican Patois. I’m talking about “Lawd, let meh ketch meh breath!”

My son graduated basic training at Fort Benning. Afterwards he wanted brisket and this place was the highest rated bbq restaurant in town. They did not disappoint! The quality was excellent, the taste was amazing and the people were so welcoming of us and our new soldier! Would definitely recommend to everyone!
