I love love love this place.
I can’t say enough about this restaurant. The staff was friendly and generally concerned that you were enjoying yourself. The food was spectacular. The smothered pork chop melted on your fork. We also has the fried catfish and it was delicious.

Possibly the best meal I’ve ever eaten. The food (and sweet tea) were amazing. I had the fried chicken, macaroni, and greens. They were all among the best I’ve had anywhere. Also sampled ham and beans, fried okra, and sweet potatoes from my friend’s plate. Equally wonderful. Service was perfect and the space was welcoming. You need to eat here!

Me’ s is such a wonderful place to eat. My husband and I ate there today for the first time, it was like going home to grandmas for Sunday dinner. The greens and fried chicken will not disappoint, and the cabbage was so good and full of flavor. Melody was very nice, you can tell that she put her foot in them greens though, oh my… And the gooey cake was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. Looking forward to eating there again.

Chicken with waffles, fried okra and brown beans…. So delicious, excellent. Very nice family environment. Love it. Fried chicken everyday. The baked chicken, so tender, it’s unbelievable. Coffee with hint of cinnamon out if this place, but the BEST is the service, they will treat you and spoiled you like home. Never disappoint!! Will give 10⭐ if I could.

Everything was wonderful! We had the smothered pork chops on rice and it was so tender just falling off the fork and the best Mac and cheese I’ve ever had. We loved everything On our plate. Once inside it felt like we were welcomed into someone’s home and handed the most delicious home cooked meal. The price is great for how much you get and the service wonderful.

BEST greens we’ve had in a long time!!
I had the catfish with greens and Mac and cheese. Husband had chicken wings, greens and Mac and cheese. Lunch also came with a serving of sweet cornbread. Everything was really good! I could have made a meal just eating greens!!

Best food in Joplin. No kidding. Everything was absolutely perfect. I have always had to season what I’m eating. That is until I ate here. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Go and eat here immediately. Daily menus and fried chicken every day. We’ll be back ASAP.

MEs place lives up to the reviews – we had an absolutely wonderful meal – divine fried chicken, tender fall off the bone country ribs, the best ever collard greens, buttered cabbage and of course, macaroni and cheese. While we waited for our food, we got to browse exhibits of local business and community history . Melodee was warm and charming and made sure we had everything we could want. And yes, save room for dessert!

I give Me’s Place a star rating!! The food is hot never cold & u can tell the food is prepared with a lot class! Everything is home cooking! Everyone is so friendly! There is not a restaurant in Joplin that can compare to the food u can get at Me’s Place! And the thing is I can leave satisfied not hungry for more!!!!!! I absolutely love this place!!!!!
