The kids absolutely loved the mushroom and cheese pizza. This location is fantastic, we originally came just to grab a few beers and then noticed the outdoor patio. After getting our drinks, we headed outside and saw a band setting up for live music, which was a great surprise. We spotted the Freda pizza on the menu, but the kids wanted something simple, so we ordered one cheese and one mushroom. The pizza was incredible, the crust was perfect. We really enjoyed our two-hour visit here, and of course, we wrapped it up with some ice cream.

This is great pizza, I was still craving more Italian food after 3 weeks in Sicily so I stopped here, my father is from NY so I have had a good NYC slice many times and this place makes a good NY style pizza, the oven gives their smaller pies a nice char that makes them taste like a blend between and Napolitano pizza and a NY pizza. Probably the best pizza I’ve found in the area and now my number one of the 3 acceptable pizza places in Camarillo and TO

This location share the interior with TOPA TOPA Brewery and Rori’s Creamery so it’s like an annex hall. Lots of movement going on during Friday and Saturday. The pizza was ok. We purchased three of their most popular pizzas the mushroom pizza, short rib pizza and Margarita. The dough was ok, it was a bit chewy to the finish (3.3 stars) over all the mushroom pizza was a hit. The short rib and margarita were average not bad. If we make a second sound will go back for the Fungi pizza.

We recently drove through downtown Camarillo and noticed a big crowd seated outdoors enjoying beer, pizza and each other’s company. We checked which places this was near and it turned out to be Freda’s Wood-fired Pizza and the adjacent Topa Topa Brewery.

We decided we had to try this experience, which seemed reasonably safe with spacious outdoor picnic table seating. This building, called The Mark, and the adjacent outdoor eating area, is actually shared by 3 tenants currently: Freda’s, Topa Topa Brewery and Rori’s Artisanal Creamery.

We are a family of 3, including a pizza-loving 4-year-old. We first visited Freda’s and ordered a 16″ New York Style Spinaci pizza, which has a thin, crispy crust and is baked in a pizza oven Toppings included spinach, mozzarella, provolone, EV olive oil, roasted onions and roasted whole garlic cloves. This was a delicious pizza! I love roasted garlic, but my wife picked most of hers off and gave them to me because she didn’t feel they belonged on a pizza. What? is it Christmas already?

We also ordered a 12″ brick oven seasonal mushroom and white truffle oil pizza. This type is made in a brick oven, and you can definitely tell because, although the crust is also thin, you quickly pick up that charred, smokiness and flavor, and you can see the beautiful, light charring on the crust. Its toppings included mozzarella, parmesan, a “seasonal” mushroom, oregano and white truffle oil. If I had to guess, i would bet the mushroom is either a Porcini or a Chanterelles. The truffle oil added a great finishing flavor, and we did like this pizza more than the other one we ordered, although they were both delicious. The latter was more oily, but it was not off-putting in the least due to the great flavor.

We then waited outside, both for our pizza order and for a picnic table to become available. On busy days, you need to scan the tables to see which one is closest to paying and leaving. Then walk over and politely ask if they are on their way out. If they are, then hang around the table at a socially acceptable distance (pandemic or not) to keep other table hunters away. If you’re too polite, you’ll end up eating in your car or back home, which no one wants.

Once we secured our table, i walked into to Topa Topa, which has an outdoor patio where you can order, and I ordered a Casey’s Kolsch and a Dos Topas lager.

The service was great, with the server dropping by multiple times to take plates and ask if we needed anything.

We loved our meal at Freda’s, and i highly recommend it for your next artisan and delicious pizza experience.

I travel a lot for work, 66 flights so far this year, and in those travels, I really enjoy trying pizza from new places.

Freda’s is at the very top of my list. I’m not a crazy fan of specialty pies in general, and they’re nice here, but the straight Pep and the Margherita are both absolutely top notch. The dough is tossed perfectly, and cooked to perfection. Always a little char on the crust that’s got the exact balance of soft bread surrounded by a crunchy bite.

I never feel the need to try somewhere new when I’m out here, cause this is everything I need in a pie, with the connected brewery that makes a decent hazy and a really nice pils, for bonus points

Newly opened pizzeria in Camarillo Old Town. Ordered the potato and beacon from brick oven menu section. The combination of bacon and potatoes add some flavor to this delicious and tasty pizza. Plenty of sitting outside but depending on the time of day you may have to wait for a little bit to get an empty seat. The staff were professional and welcoming. Overall loved it and hope to visit again and try some else on the menu.

Last time I was there I order el Diablo pizza. After about 30 minutes my pizza never arrived. I went up to the counter to ask about my pizza. The guy at the counter said my order was mixed up with another order, so my pizza was sitting on thier counter for quite a long time, it was cold at this point. I asked if my order can be remade. The guy said this was my order and handed it to me. He was very rude. I wasn’t even offered a refund. I haven’t been back since. The pizza is very good, but the customer service is awful. For the price of the food, the customer service should match.

Probably one of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had. Literally any frozen pizza from grocery outlet is better than this. Floppy crust, flavor is blaise. Even the pepperoni’s were not cooked. Fortunately topa topa beer is adjacent so at least that helped a little.

Enjoyed a Cuban Sandwich with fries for dinner. This is how a business should be run, I met the owner as he was out checking in on people last night, made sure EVERYONE there was good before he took a break to check out some new crust on a cheese pizza, even asked me if I wanted to try a piece but I was too full. It will be a date night spot for us for sure.

My go to when in the area. Pizza and wings always hit the spot. Can’t beat the fact that you can grab a beer at Topa Topa Brewery located in the same food court. A win win if you ask me! Highly recommend this place.
