Disappointing value for takeout pho
We ordered two beef pho dishes from BT To Go and were shocked when the total came out to $52, especially for a takeout-only restaurant. My wife is Vietnamese, and we’ve tried many pho spots around the Tampa area, including sit-down restaurants with higher-quality ingredients, and none have been anywhere near this expensive.
The quality simply didn’t justify the price, and it was hard to understand the cost given the limited overhead of a takeout operation. Nothing about the pho felt premium or memorable enough to warrant paying so much more than comparable options nearby.
To make matters worse, the packaging was very poor. My pho was in a flimsy paper cup, and the lid came off during the drive home, spilling soup all over my car. That was extremely frustrating and unacceptable at this price point.
Overall, I got no value from this experience. Hopefully this review helps others avoid overpaying for pho that doesn’t live up to its cost in the Tampa Bay Area.

The fresh rolls are so delicious and the peanut sauce is amazing, they are made as soon as you order them so the rice paper is the perfect consistency. The order comes in a cute little to go box and a biodegradable plastic bag. It was probably only a five minute wait to have the food made. Definitely will get these again.

BT to go is one of my favorite spots in south tampa! The food is consistently delicious and healthy. The fresh rolls, chili chicken salad, and the banh mi are my go-to options!

I’ve been here twice so far, the service, food and price is all very good.
The food we ordered was made rapidly.
The vibe of the place was cute and decor very pretty.

The food is so flavorful. I highly recommend the beef tenderloin Pho Noodle soup. The bowl is HUGE! Customer service is kind and knowledgeable. I felt confident as a first time customer asking questions and taking my time to order. The atmosphere inside is calming. Quiet space to relax and eat!

Quaint and not a typical Vietnamese restaurant. A little on the pricey side. Went there as a dine-in, staff was nice, decor was great. They serve the pho as is (bean sprouts and Thai basil is already mixed in) – fish sauce, chili and lime is not readily available and you have to ask for it, broth was lacking flavors typical for pho soups. Banh mi was hit or miss, shared with someone, my half was flavorful, the other was bland. The fresh roll is mostly lettuce – not enough chicken or noodles…so I’m still debating if I should revisit as the reputation doesn’t equal the taste.

The name “to go” is in their name but you should not order the pho to go! They put everything together in shared containers which means the herbs were wilted from the heat of the noodles. The beef was all shriveled up from sitting in hot broth. No sriracha was included and the broth was super bland. I will never order pick up from here again. I order pho from all over and this has to be the worst I’ve had. Really hoping it was an off night for whomever was in their kitchen but they really need some training on how to pack their food to go!

Randomly picked this place lunch and was happy I found it. I grabbed the duck breast banh mi and cucumber salad. Both dishes were fantastic. I will be returning to try more.
