DONT GET THE PASTA.

I hate to leave a bad review for a local business but it’s days later and I can’t stop thinking about how BAD the spaghetti and meatballs was.

The pasta was mushy and overcooked. The spaghetti was a level of gooey I’ve never encountered before – just disgusting. Truly, the worst plate of spaghetti and meatballs of my life. The meatballs were dense, overcooked, and provably just a sphere version of their hamburger.
How do you mess up spaghetti & meatballs?!?

My friend got a rigatoni pasta which was better but still her pasta was dramatically overcooked.

Someone in the kitchen is doing things wrong. For the sister restaurant of Antique Bar & Bakery I expected better. Perhaps the burgers and other dishes are better. Salad was good.

Artichoke salad: 9/10
Rigatoni pasta: 5/10
Spaghetti & Meatballs: 2/10

Wine: served in cups, not wine glasses: 1/10

So many excellent restaurants in Hoboken for Italian food, this isn’t one

From the team behind Antique Bar & Bakery! They have fixed the smoke from the grill issue. They also have heated back patio seating. This is an excellent place for brunch, lunch or a casual dinner. The burger is top notch. Very good brunch options. We loved the artichoke salad. The chicken parm hero was yummy not my favorite on the menu though. You can get the bread pudding in a smaller size here! Excellent for take out as well. Prices are reasonable and staff is great!

Absolutely love this place! My boyfriend and I have been coming here for atleast a year now and it has always been a spot that is reliable, great food, and friendly service. Especially Elizabeth, she is lovely, relatable and you can tell she cares and has pride in the business. She asked us for feedback as they recently made some changes to the menu and atmosphere and i can only say great things. We love the back area too- and it’s heated. This is our weekly spot and it should be yours too!!

Food here is delicious and service was great! The waiter was so nice and explained everything very well. The atmosphere is very fun and inviting — only thing is there is some smoke from the open kitchen. The mac and cheese was one of our favorite— will definitely order again!

I’ve been here several times. For brunch it’s really good. This time here a bit disappointing. The chicken parm sandwich is way too salty. We can’t finish it. Other dishes are good.

YIKES. I wanted to love it here which makes it so much more disappointing. Food is mediocre at best and super overpriced. Charges more than what the menu says. Bread pudding was burnt on top, cold, and barely had any caramel sauce on it. 2 people drank soda and it was $16 because they charge for each cup that is just filled with ice. Service is slow, but that’s the least of their issues.

Our favorite dessert hack is to head here for the bread pudding after a dinner elsewhere. If you’re familiar with the famous 4-person thirty-something dollar bread pudding at Antique Bar & Bakery (just down the street) – the bread pudding is the same only a humanely sized portion (and price). Atmosphere is relaxed, a little too bright for a cozy date night and sometimes has a smokey smell due to the open kitchen, but worth it for a quick dessert.

We had such a blast tonight! There were eight of us, and we were all super comfy in the back of the room. We were all chatting about the cool and quirky decor. The vibe was just amazing! Most of us went for the smash burger, and it was absolutely delicious! But the California burrito was just as awesome. Even the gluten-free brownie was amazing! The staff was so sweet and helpful too.

I love Antique @ 112 even more than I love the original Antique. The menu is just so many classic takes on diner favorites in perfect proportion styles. The mac and cheese is to die for. The personal mini bread puddings are a game changer. Only negative is if you sit on the back closer to the kitchen you WILL leave smelling as such. I recommend asking to sit near the front if possible.

Service is awful. Table that walked in 20 minutes after us got their food before us, and they ordered the same thing. Had to ask for our drinks and desert, which would have never come out. Food was overpriced and tasteless. Napkins, silverware, etc come with order, not on the table. Bread pudding was the best thing but tasted and felt like it was frozen. Pork Roll/Taylor Ham is served in a hunk on the sandwich, not slices. Iced coffee contained no ice.

Also why am I writing down my order if I just need to read it off at the register? And given the terrible service, asking to tip before receiving service/food is unacceptable.

Inside was smokey and smelled like kitchen grease – my girlfriends coat took the smell home with her as well. Cramped area near the bar makes it impossible for two people walking in opposite directions to pass – which would be fine, except people stand there having conversations which prevent anyone from passing by.
