It’s a great place to go if you’re looking to go to a bar to be with more of the locals while visiting Homer. When you are here, you feel like you are actually part of their community enjoying a cocktail with them instead of an outside tourist. A must stop by if you find yourself in the great community of Homer!

Everything you would expect from a local bar. Good local live music… Happy less than sober folks. The bartender could use an extra hand but is amazingly capable at keeping up with orders. Dance floor could be bigger but it’s sufficient. Happy times.

It’s an ok neighborhood bar that has an ok atmosphere but can be a bit “not my scene.” I’ve been there when they had a DJ on a Friday and it was sort of crowded but not too much. Then I was there when they had a local guy playing his guitar and it was slow and “not happening.” The last time I was there, sorry didn’t get any pics, was on Halloween and they had a DJ and a costume contest. It was fun but ordering drinks was hard because of how crowded it was…the bartender would point at you and say “go” and you better know what you wanted and say it fast. It did remind me of the bar in Anaheim, CA that I went to when I was married and we’d play pool sometimes. The only difference was Kharacters tried to do something with music other than the jukebox and the other one didn’t.

Wow just wow the cab drivers at Cole’s is evil… the people are rude and intrude on my private conversations the bar tender on Saturday nights is rude n mean never going to this place again

No real food but the hot dogs tasted great. The beer and wine were good and we really enjoyed talking to the locals. It’s fun talking to the people who really live in the town you are visiting.
