It used to be great! But tonight’s visit was completely different. Waitress seemed like she had an attitude and the food was cold. Tried to charge us for 5 drinks when we had 2 drinks and a water.

Trying for first time. Very slow traffic on a Saturday afternoon/early evening but the place was a nice country cafe with very friendly staff. Food was good and priced reasonably. The walls and picture frame and glass of picture definitely could use a good washing. Otherwise overall would return again.

I love this restaurant and the people there. The reason for 2 stars is because of the roach problem. I had stopped going due to seeing roaches on several occasions and told employees of sightings without letting other customers hear. Later saw on Facebook a video of roach on a plate. I decided to try them again recently but saw a roach. Wish they could get rid of them because one of a very few family oriented restaurant locally.

Stopped in for lunch on my way through for a work trip. I went for the buffet (chicken leg, pork chop, mashed potatoes, squash, chocolate pie, and tea were my selections and they had 2 more meats, 3 more veggies, salad bar, and several other desserts to choose from). All of that was only $8.90 plus tip! (It is done per item). The food, especially the fried chicken leg and pie, was great. The staff was very friendly as well. Definitely recommend if you are looking for country food and atmosphere at a great price!

Good variety of food . sadly,they do not serve breakfast after 11am. But the breakfast choices looked really good. 3 in our party .one ordered burger and fries ,he was happy. One ordered ham steak with sweet potato fried and coleslaw. Coleslaw was good ,ham steak was good but more like a slice of ham than a steak. I had 1/2 pound boiled shrimp dinner. The boiled shrimp were served COLD. No mention on the menu that they would be cold. Came with Texas toast potato ,onion rings ( battered not breaded)and salad bar.salad bar was OK but they had a dressing called wine and cheese it was delicious!…
Moore’s has a buffet ,seems like it must be good ,the line was steady. They had chicken,some kind of BBQ,black eyed peas,corn,mashed potatoes and gray,cornbread,biscuit s,soup etcetera ( southern fare) sweet tea ( good ,sweet but not too sweet and good tea flavor)and unsweet tea.
They have a large assortment of steak choices had it been dinner time I think I would go for that option.
Service was really nice our waitress Gail was great. She helped with my father in law who has Alzheimer’s. ( cut his meat,gave small read cup to help regulate liquid consumption rate,etc) the rest of the staff were super nice and made is feel at home.
Plenty of parking ,restroom,casual,family friendly.fairly priced.( steak prices seem better than some other items)

I called tonight to ask about menu items. The young gentleman to the time to quote me the ENTIRE menu. We experienced GREAT customer service. Y’all stop by and get y’all some great food. If you get the pleasure to have Dan serve y’all in anyway, please tip him BIG!
