Take out order: lamb kabob, beef kabob, braised pork belly rice, extra rice. Total cost: $37.
Taste: not authentic Taiwanese food. Especially the braised porkbelly rice. The kabobs were extremely dry, dryer than beef jerkies. Lambs were not only dry, but also gamey. Do not recommend it at all

I first found out about dragon tea (recently rebranded to Leilani Taiwanese Kitchen) in 2020 while my friend and I were looking for a cafe to grab a bite, boba, and get some work done at. Since then, I’ve tried a couple other Taiwanese restaurants for the beef noodle soup but always find myself coming back to this hole in the wall spot for their tomato beef noodle soup! The broth is homey and comforting and paired with all the different toppings that they add to it, I feel like it’s the closest thing I can find to the beef noodle soups that I’ve had in Taiwan. Aside from the beef noodle soup, I love to also order their pan fried dumplings, popcorn chicken, and chicken skewers – honestly, I feel like you can’t really go wrong with anything you get here! For drinks, my favorite is the honeydew slush drink, but their fresh milk drinks are also popular and not overly sweet, which I like (I’m just not normally a whole milk drinker so I don’t choose this option much).
There’s a parking lot in the back of the building that they share with other eaters like the upstairs yakiniku spot, and rainbow’s drive in but if that runs out, I either park in the extended lot right behind that lot, or on the street.
For the price and quality, this place is hands down my favorite Taiwanese spot on island! I always rave about it with all my friends!

The beef noodle soup was ok. Broth at medium spiciness delivered the heat. I wish there was more depth of flavor. The popcorn chicken was good. The Dan Bing was a bit thick, but I appreciated the pork floss they put in it. The potstickers had a nice flavor. My friend said that the lou rou fan was OK.

Leilani Taiwanese Kitchen (formerly known as Dragon Tea) is a great casual spot for boba drinks or delicious food. I really like the honeydew with fresh milk drink along with the beef noodle soup and the braised beef bento with pickled vegetables. As someone who has visited Taiwan, I can definitely say this is as authentic as it gets.
There are a few stalls of parking on the property but if that’s full, there is a larger adjacent lot with more stalls.

I was born and raised in Taiwan, so I have to give Dragon Tea an unreserved thumbs up
Many dishes are completely authentic to the hometown taste — esp the dumplings, noodles, and the fried chicken. They may not be showstoppers, but they are definitely comfort food!
Top recommendations: Popcorn Chicken (with essential basil), Sesame Noodles (includes peanut paste), and any Dumplings (boiled or fried, they are super juicy)
My only complaint: DT needs proper soup spoons!! I can’t believe we were served beef noodles with a regular tea spoon.

Food is always good here. This shop probably has the most authentic Taiwanese snack/food on the island. Their drink menu is pretty extensive but I would say they are not as good as their food. I ordered the brown sugar milk tea which I think it’s comprised of whole milk, brown sugar, and bubba and it was good. But they put in so much ice! Like almost half of the cup…..you can imagine the whole milk tasted more like skim milk…..

Dang this is some fire drinks and snacks.
Park in the spring lot for the apartment complex behind this building.
The tea is hella good (I rarely review boba shops but I am for this one). You can tell they use real fruits!
The popcorn chicken and the chicken cutlets are fireeeeee. They come out so hot and juicy and also crispy. Wow. We ordered a bunch of snacks cause couldn’t resist the allure of this Taiwanese store. Thank you!

I’m sorry but as a fan of taiwanese food I just have to gibe my 2 cents. It seems like they rushed the order out and took no effort at all. The braised tofu is just too salty. The braised minced meat is bland with no taste at all.
Had the popcorn chicken too. Ratio of chicken and basil needs to be balanced. Also the chicken was over seasoned and dryed out.

Bubble tea was ok; they almost forgot my lychee jelly, good thing my wife noticed. Clean and they have a double and single xl size for ice tea! Plus various food options. Owner is Taiwanese.

Tasty brown sugar milk tea with BROWN SUGAR JELLY! Never had this type of jelly before! Also highly recommend the popcorn chicken. Very close to the airport, decided to get a mini snack before we headed to our hotel!
