I want to be clear- this review is not about the food. I did not get to try the food here. My family made a 30 minute drive to try Soup & Scoops for dinner on a Saturday at about 6:30pm. Here on Google it says it’s open until 8pm on Saturdays. However, when we arrived, it was closed. Google, their Instagram page, and the door of their business all have different hours. Very disappointing and a waste of a 30 minute drive.

At the very least have up to date hours online for newcomers. Your Yelp listing still says it’s open at 6 am on weekdays while on Instagram it’s open at 9 am. Your hours posted on your actual entrance says otherwise. What a waste of time.

Soups & Scoops is a charming little spot with a great mix of comfort and fun. The soups are hearty and flavorful — perfect for a chilly day — and the ice cream is rich, creamy, and full of creative flavors. The staff are friendly and always willing to offer samples or suggestions. The place has a cozy, hometown vibe that makes you want to come back. My only small gripe is that seating can be limited during peak times. Otherwise, it’s a delightful spot for a satisfying meal and a sweet treat!

Great homemade soups a variety to choose from….cold soups and various salads like chicken or seafood are also rock star standouts from the previous day . Never had a bad soup or sandwich here… always delicious!!

I ordered black bean pumpkin chili- since I am vegetarian my experience with black bean pumpkin bases do not include meat. Grubhub delivered to the wrong address so when I finally hunted down my lunch it was cold and contained meat, so I could not eat it. When I called soup & scoops to let them know they should be more specific on their menu and about the 12$ cold lunch I could not eat she told me to hold on put the phone down and went about her business leaving me sit there for several minutes. I hung up because clearly they don’t care about their customers or try to make things right. I will make sure not to give them anymore business and make sure everyone in our neighborhood knows about my experience and their lack of concern.

So many soups to choose from, and all are delicious. They have soups for different dietary needs, e.g. vegetarian, vegan, gluten free. As a vegetarian, I really appreciate that they will check the ingredients for you.
The honey butter for the bread rolls is amazing! You can have bread and butter, or oyster crackers with your soup. You can eat there, or take it to go. And don’t forget to check the refrigerator in front for half-priced soups from the previous day!
Many great ice cream flavors with a selection of toppings. And they have some breakfast options too. As for beverages you can get pop and juice.
The daily menu is posted on their website & Facebook, and they have a punch-card to earn free soup. They have a very cute and cozy interior design with a farmhouse decor style. I always feel at home here.

The soups that we tried were both good chicken chili with white navy bean and the beef barley. On the other hand the Italian Panini we had didn’t taste too good not sure if it was the cheese or the Dijon mustard.

I schedule my work commute around their everyday soup offerings. In addition to the 8 tureens on the counter, awesome soups from upto a couple days ago are in the fridge display in pint and quart containers. Sandwiches and ice cream also very good. YES they are open everyday.

I love this place and take my kids here for ice cream regularly, and it’s so cute that they have so many topping options. I have not had a bad soup from here, the lasagna soup is a favorite of mine. Greek salad and vinaigrette is perfect. The chicken salad from here is probably the best I’ve ever had. The coffee is good and strong and they have flavored syrup options. The ladies working here are great. This place is such a gem
