First of all I love the fact this is a worker-owned cooperative. The staff person who helped us was very pleasant and engaging. Nice atmosphere and decor in the indoor seating area. There’s also nice outdoor patio and street seating.

It’s 100% vegan so if you’re vegan there’s no worries about cross contamination. A very nice variety of menu items. The food is very flavorful and plentiful. I ordered the “Today’s Rice & Curry plate (see photo of board w/special) along with Jaggery “Beef” Curry and “Beef” Rolls. I would definitely order the Jaggery “Beef” Curry and “Beef” Rolls again. My friend ordered the Deviled “Pork” and raved about it.

I look forward to trying more menu items on my next visits.

This was my introduction to Sri Lankan food, and Mirisata instantly made me retire from wanting South Asian food anywhere else! I’ve eaten here many times, and every visit is incredible. The food is not only packed with amazing flavor, but it also leaves me feeling genuinely good afterward. Their simple rice and dal is comfort at its finest, and their curries are just as amazing.

If you feel intimidated by the selection, the staff are great at recommending what pairs well. The service can be a bit slow at times, but the food is absolutely worth the wait.

Everything was insanely delicious! The spicy cheese roti was so good! As were the curries, chutney, and dahl. Got the house mule – has ginger, lime, and lemongrass – and it was the best drink! Can’t wait to eat here again.
Fully vegan. Tip-inclusive pricing.

Amazing food and service! The business itself is amazing and should be supported for their mission both locally and internationally. But if these people weren’t saints already their food is absolutely divine! You can taste the love they pour into every dish. Will be back again and again

Delicious food! We ordered six small curries as recommended to get the free rice and papadam. Everything tasted excellent. It felt a little cold inside, though; some heating would have been nice.

Hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in the past 10 years. We came in with 9 people, changed tables, and took quite some time to order but the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. And the food? Absolutely out of this world. Drinks? Fantastically unique and thoughtful (especially the NA options). It can be difficult to find good plant based food options, especially for folks with allergies and dietary restrictions, but this place is such a welcomed respite for those with such requirements. I hope to be back very soon to show this place off to any and everyone I can!

Truly some of the best food available in the PNW, vegan or otherwise. The flavors are insanely good. I have been several times and make it a point to go in w no plan at all and just order purely off of vibes alone and have never been disappointed. Everything is so good every time. The portions are pretty excellent as well, every time I have gone I have eaten to the point of physical discomfort from being too full and still had food leftover to bring home for later.
The fact that it’s worker owned and fully vegan is a huge plus, even though I am not a vegan any longer (just a regular ol vegetarian now). The people are wonderfully kind and have answered questions I have about dishes or ingredients I’m unfamiliar with, the patio seating is great and heated and the indoor seating is wonderful for when it’s just a bit too cold outside.
The drinks are awesome too. Don’t sleep on the bloody, it slaps.
I wish I could tell you what I ordered in this picture but all I can say is all of it was mouth watering.
Reheating the leftovers the next day made my house smell incredible also.
Cannot recommend this place enough. The first time I brought my partner here she was legitimately upset w me for not bringing her sooner like why would I gatekeep this delicious place from her? so rude. Cannot wait for my next visit.
Whether you’re local or visiting, please make sure to check this place out. You will not be disappointed.

Great food overall although I did notice the rice was a little dry. I ordered the family meal expecting plenty of leftovers to take home for two people but the serving sides were so small that it’s a good thing I’m on Wegovy because I was full after a regular size plate full and the leftovers filled up 1/3rd of the smallest to go container. So the value is definitely not there. If I had spent the same amount at Panda Express I would have had at least three full meals of leftovers. Overall I’m happy to have experienced this food but it’s definitely a one and done here. Not worth the drive into Portland so I won’t be back since I’m more value oriented and this ain’t it.

Mirisata delivers comfort and flavor! We loved the chicken curry and cheese roti, and the hearty cashew curry. Watalappan dessert was the perfect end to the meal – not too sweet yet indulgent.
