Fried tacos. Get it.
Probably the freshest Chile Relleno I’ve ever had.
Honestly, a dumb thing to add to a review… the straws. Honestly THEE best quality straws. They’re not paper, regular ol American plastic but thick and durable.

My friends and I had lunch at La Pasadita a few weeks ago, and it was DELICIOUS! The restaurant’s appearance is understated–just a storefront in a strip center–but the food and service are fabulous!
Our server was Alondra V, and she was terrific! She was friendly, efficient, and assisted us as we navigated the menu (two of us were first-time visitors to the restaurant). She ensured our food arrived quickly, and checked back on us several times.
I had the Gorditas with a side of avocado, and everything was SCRUMPTIOUS!! The Gorditas were plump and juicy without being greasy, and the meat was seasoned perfectly. The avocado was fresh and the slices were a generous portion. My two friends had the chicken soft tacos and the #2 Mexican plate, and they said their meals were equally tasty.
Again, please look past appearances and give La Pasadita a try! You’ll enjoy the food and the service, and–like us–you’ll want to return!

Food is OK but doesnt quite match the pricing Customer service is probably the worst I’ve experienced in a while! They ran out of the country potatoes my husband wanted (he’s not a fan of hashbrowns) so he asked if he could substitute them for French fries. He was told yes, but there would an extra charge. We don’t mind paying for substitutions so of course he said that was fine. Turns out they charged us full price for the fries – $5 for soggy fries! When we asked the waitress and told her she didn’t mention it would be full price and charged on the side, she gave us attitude. She stopped by our table maybe once to check up on us and never offered to refill my cup of water or asked how the food turned out. Won’t be back- its a shame how poorly they treat customers and based on reviews I see it happens often.

Pretty sure I’ve found my new favorite restaurant. The tacos dorados were chef’s kiss, the salsa was tasty without burning my soul , and I’ve also had the caldo and tortilla soup—both solid wins.

After watching taco chronicles on Netflix, I had the craving for some tacos. I typically like to look and find new places and found this hidden gem in Horizon City. It’s a smaller restaurant tucked away in a shopping plaza. It has 4 – two person tables, 2 – 4 person tables, and 1 – three person table. I had the fried tacos, rolled tacos ranchera style, and my wife had the enchiladas. The salsas that came pre meal were also very good. Ultimately it was a very satisfying meal. The tacos were loaded with meat, the Flautas were STUFFED with chicken, no skimping out on that. Everyone was getting menudo, so we asked the waitress if she could give us a sampler bowl and now I see why. I have to say hands down the best menudo I’ve ever had and it’s going to be my wife’s go to on Sunday mornings to pick up and bring to her parents. The “soup” was flavorful, and the meat was not rubbery, it was almost melt in your mouth good. I will say that although everything was great, the salt level is just perfect and a sprinkle away of being too salty. The waitresses were nice and attentive. I highly recommend you try this location.

I liked the Salsa and my meal. I ordered the Sirloin Enchiladas red sauce. I’d like a lil bit more red sauce on that, but it’s ok. My first time here, so I was not sure of the system. I ordered at the register but I intended to dine in. I sensed that my order was to go after I was wondering if my desire for chips and salsa was normal or if it’s not in thier culture or it was just me or this place. Then I told the staff this is for here just in time, and my chips salsa showed up. Moral of the story, if you order, you might want to clarify if it’s to go or dine in. My bad assuming that my mind can be read or asked if this is to go or dine in.

Service was great. Ordered the parrillada for 2 and was a little disappointed in getting 5 shrimp when it says 8oz of shrimp, chicken, and beef. Dish had primarily fajita beef which was ok I guess. Comes with rice and some microwaved beans. Nothing else to put on your tortillas but that and some fajita veggies. Order something else, hoping the menudo is good on the weekends.
