Our family has been enjoying Nancy’s bacon breakfast burrito for over two years now. We get them about every two weeks and they are consistently delicious. Very lucky to have this place so close to home, it’s an added bonus that the chef & cashier are always kind. Prices are reasonable! We love Nancy’s!

It might be a small no frills hole in the wall. BUT Let me tell you something….. this (plain) CARNITAS PLATE right here !!!! I don’t know who’s Abuela is in the back roasting this pork. Normally I NEVER eat carnitas because it’s dry and tasteless. But this right here is perfectly moist AND crispy with a delicious bouquet of seasoning. You get a great portion of pork, guacamole, red rice , and beans. Look it’s just delicious and satisfying. I really can’t say more ! Try it for yourself.

We use this place regularly because we live next to it. It’s good, but good Mexican food isn’t hard to come by in SD. Prices have gone up a bit over the last 6 months too. The staff is always friendly and the food is ready quickly. If you’re looking for “OMG, you have to try this place!” this isn’t it (go to Pacific Beach or down around the Coronado Bridge for choice taco shops), but if you just want some quality Mexican at a fair price and you’re in the neighborhood, this is your spot.

The food was horrible I got a carne asada burrito wet and it was so bad and my boyfriend got a carne asada taco and my boyfriend is Mexican and when he got his taco he was like what is this but I will say when I asked for my money back for the burrito the guy did give it back to me and he wasn’t rude about it or anything which was why I have 4 stars for service
