Loved our first experience here! The service was awesome, giving us recommendations and time to just sit and enjoy our meal. The lighting is a little harsh, we wished the bulbs were a little softer or dimmed. Everything we ate was fantastic! From the ceviche, to the homemade corn tortilla tacos, to the Rojas enchiladas. YUM. I appreciate the fresh lime margarita options and thought things were fairly priced for portion size as well!

Our favorite new restaurant, and some of the absolute *best* Mexican food I’ve ever had. We haven’t had a problem with parking—it’s well-worth a little walk. Great staff, great drinks, we’ll be back for a 4th visit soon!

What an amazing place. Small seating area which gives you an amazing experience with the staff. Everyone has been very kind from the owner Louis to all the wait staff. Tracy and Jennifer helped us fall in love with Azul Agave and the owner keeps us coming back. Enough about the staff…
The food is incredible. Haven’t had one bad thing from the carne asada where I don’t even need the tortillas to the Baja tacos which flavors dance in your mouth. The home made hot sauce keeps you wanting more (make sure you ask for it).

There is NO parking lot so patrons have to find street parking which could be a somewhat long walk. Entering the restaurant we were promptly greeted.
Our waitress was very unremarkable, and not very friendly. She seemed disinterested in making any suggestions at making sure we had what we needed to best enjoy our meal.
The food was okay, nothing remarkable. I was disappointed there were no combination plates to speak is with an assortmentbof familiar Mexican food. To me the best part of my meal were the side order of refried beans.
The Men’s restroom is very small. It was clean. It looks like they do try to keep restrooms clean.
My thought is this is more bar than restaurant. It seems the atmosphere is better-suited to be the local bar than restaurant.

What a great find! A relatively new restaurant in Sanford and it is definitely worth a visit. I love Mexican food and have eaten in many Mexican restaurants over the years. I think I can truly say, this has moved to the top of my “favorite” list. I ordered the classic tacos. Two tacos came with red rice, and beans. Plentiful and delicious. The chips and salsa ahead of time were delicious as well. Very reasonably priced. The owner and staff were so welcoming and efficient. I wish I had room for dessert. Maybe next time.

The food was amazing and it’s another super cute Mexican restaurant in beautiful Sanford. It was a little too chilly temperature wise in the restaurant, hence the 4⭐️ for the atmosphere. Other then that amazing.

Great people who remember your name! Wonderful food! Never had a bad meal! Tracy and Jen rock the house! Louis is one of a kind owner. Must try the drunken shrimp! Sauce is outstanding! Make sure to ask for homemade hot sauce if you want a real treat!

I love this place, simply put! It is consistant, reasonably priced, excellent food service with front and back of house, and clean! Also, the owner was gracious enough to allow me to have something that was not on the menu; tostadas.
Am picky with Mexican food, and this place is legit…am not a fan of seafood, but their shrimps (shared) were cooked and seasoned properly!!!!!
