Disappointed but not surprised.
The jerk chicken entree was horrible, watery sauce, undercooked chicken. I got the small entree ,only give you a small piece of thigh they chopped into 3 pieces smh! Mac was horrible and tasteless it look pretty tho. plantain… not too bad. Rice dry! Probably won’t be back here!

STAMP!! Their Fried Chicken Platter ($14.50 with fried chicken, rice & peas with goat gravy, & cabbage). Ok with the curry goat sauce on the rice n peas…STAMP!! Crispy well seasoned fried chicken, & DELICIOUS cabbage!!

STAMP!! Their Brown Stew Platter ($14.50 with Brown Stew chicken, rice & peas with brown stew gravy, & cabbage). Sweet, savory, meaty, even the gravy on the rice made the rice STAMPED!! Best Brown Stew in the area!!

STAMP!! Their Bourbon Wings ($12 for 6 bourbon sauced glazed wings). Thoroughly cooked, & superbly glazed!!

STAMP!! Their Jerk Chicken ($14.50 jerked chicken, with rice & peas, & cabbage). Not too spicy well cooked jerk chicken, the plain rice n peas, & cabbage were DELICIOUS…I should put that jerk sauce on these!!

DELICIOUS. Their Salmon Rasta Pasta ($19.50 with glazed salmon, penne pasta, peppers, & Alfredo sauce). This was good, I needed the noodles creamier, & the salmon with some more seasoning.

STAMP!! The Drinks ($4 each, their housemade mango juice, & passionfruit juice). Both of these had a slight ginger taste, & were refreshing!!

STAMP!! Their Jerk Lamb (they found out who I was, & they gave me a sample). Meaty, spicy, & well cooked!!

I visited yesterday for the first time. The customer service was great. The food not so much! I paid 66.00 for my food and threw it all in the trash. Jerk wings tough, Mac and cheese was dry looked like box, Rasta pasta was sweet, cabbage was to crunchy and you can tell the curry shrimp was frozen. You can tell he put everything in the microwave to heat it up because the containers were super hot and the food was dry. I wish I would have taken pictures of all the food.

I’m only a few bites in and I know I’ll be back. First bite into my stew fish… really good..comes off the bone and full of flavor. Rice and peas were moist, cabbage great. Coco bread soo good and plantain were ripe and plenty. Irie juice so good.
If you are looking for traditional Jamaican food this is it.

My first visit was today for lunch and I was pleasantly impressed. The owner was very nice and patient while I decided what I wanted. He allowed me to sample the collard greens and I will definitely get them next time I visit. I got the jerk chicken entree and it was delicious! I will go back and try other menu items.

My daughter and I were craving some Jamaican food and decided to try out this restaurant via UberEats (pickup) because it was almost closing time. I ordered Jerk Shrimp, festival, plantains (for my daughter) and a Ting. We arrived for pickup about 5 minutes before closing and the owner was super nice and communicative. He told me he was about to make my order and I reassured him it was fine and to take his time since I submitted my order so close to closing time. It only took about 10 minutes after arrival to receive our food. The restaurant is super clean and welcoming! The food was hot and fresh! Everything was extremely tasty! The festival was crispy on the outside but a tad dense on the inside, yet still yummy! Jerk shrimp was delicious and not overly spicy. The new owner was very accommodating, friendly and professional. He explained they are under new management and are in the process of getting the reputation of restaurant back up.I will be back again for sure. The service and food have earned them a loyal customer.

You ever go somewhere and you smile while spending your money? This is the place where that happens. You enjoy spending your money at D&L cause it feels like home. There’s cleanliness, love/personality/genuineness and they pay attention to their patrons.

Food-

We’ve tried the escovitch snapper, jerk chicken, Rasta pasta, and the oxtails. We’ve patronized enough to be able to write a review about the food. Simply delicious! Fresh! Full portions. Large portions to have enough left over for lunch the next day. I really enjoy that my food tastes and looks fresh! And the pricing is decent— very affordable! I’m used to going to some other Caribbean restaurants and hearing “we’re out of oxtails” or “we’re out of snapper.” Not once have I come to D&L and heard those words. I appreciate that whatever I order is always in stock.

Service-

The husband and wife team are superb. Great attitudes and they remember me. They care. My husband is a little picky and likes the peppers and onions for his fish on the side. They never give me a hassle about it and are always willing to accommodate.

Atmosphere-

The level of detail and service makes the atmosphere feel like home. This is not a chain big box store. It’s a small establishment with BIG love! The dining area is intimate and on theme with the Jamaican colors.

If you want Jamaican cuisine where every dish is bursting with flavor, visit D&L Caribbean Cuisine!!!! Listen, D&L has me in a chokehold and I’ve only found the restaurant 2 weeks ago by accident; the owner is so down to earth and personable.
Now, let’s talk food…I’ve had the oxtail, curry shrimp, and escovitvh. However, my most favorite dish is the Rasta Pasta (the best I’ve had in the area)
I say all this to say, please if you’re in the area stop by D&L Caribbean Cuisine. Parking can be a little rough at times, but it’s worth it!
