My wife and I went on a Friday to watch our friends sing.
The place was very crowded, it appeared there was only a bar maid and one waitress.
There was a line at the bar because there wasn’t a waitress working the floor.
It was taking everyone 5 to 15 mins to buy a drink.
My wife and I ordered food, I ordered the rib special and side order of cheese fries. My wife ordered a BLT and fried pickles.
It took about 30 minutes to get my ribs, the waitress said she would bring the BLT and my fries in about 3 minutes.
It was 30 minutes later and I had to go the bar to see where the food was.
The waitress said they forgot and they would get right on it.
I had to stand there for another 10 minutes to get my remaining food.
The ribs had a really good smokey flavor but they were under cooked with very little meat on the bone.
The meat was very hard to get off the bone and chewy.
My wife said the BLT was good and had a lot of bacon on it.
I have never been this critical before but facts are facts.
I think the crowd was way to big for the very few employees to handle.
I believe with better organization and more employees it would be a great place to go for drinks and dinner.
One thing I was shocked by, was that smoking was allowed at the bar and dining areas.

Great place to gather with friends for good food and good times. Food is fantastic. Huge assortment of drinks. Pool tables and multiple screens to keep up with the game.

I saw something tonight that I’ve never seen in a place like this. I asked permission to go back in the kitchen and Lisa told me I could check it out. I walked in the kitchen and witnessed the cook, putting a thermometer in a chicken wing to make sure that it was fully cooked. These people care about the food that they are serving to their patrons. The wings are definitely top-notch, probably the best I’ve ever had. I found out that they smoke their wings and then fry them and the sauce is amazing. Great atmosphere, and it’s only 15 minutes from Marietta. I like to shoot pool so I decided to put some quarters up and they have diamond tables. I can’t wait to go back!

Nice local roadhouse… friendly atmosphere and staff. Visited during deer season with friends and family. Our group had a nice night out. Good quality bar food and good drinks. Keno, pool tables, football on TV… I ran into a friend from up north and all the locals were very welcoming. I will definitely stop back in next time I travel through Whipple.

Awful service!! We waited for an hour and a half for our meals and when we said something to the bartender about it, she gave us a rude response. Our waitress never came back to our table to offer us more drinks after our initial order. The brisket was just ok. I have had better in the area. Bar was dark and loud and nobody was friendly. Just like they only cared about their “regular customers”. I will never go here again and will tell everyone about the awful and rude service.
