We visited Company on Christmas Eve. The hidden bookshelf entrance is a fun touch, and the space itself is small, cozy, and relaxed. Our host/bartender didn’t seem very warm at first, but after a few interactions they opened up, and the service felt more comfortable as the evening went on. You never know what someone might be dealing with, so we appreciated that things improved.
The drinks were good — the French 75 was bright and smooth, and the Mockingbird mocktail had nice flavor. The food was solid as well. The truffle fries and bacon‑wrapped dates were tasty, and the Market St. Burger was cooked well and satisfying.
Overall, we’d give it a 4 out of 5, with the potential to be a 5 on a future visit. We’d go back.

The best atmosphere! Calm and cozy. All the servers were very warm and inviting. Everyone who worked there stopped by to check on us at any point during our meal. The food was very cute and tasted great. We only had a light snack and a couple drinks. Such a cool experience!

A very cute, relaxed place to get a drink. The prices were a little high for the amount you get, but honestly are pretty in line with this kind of place. The drinks and bread pudding were very good. Going through a bookshelf in the lobby is cool, but you lose some of that speakeasy vibe by having to exit through a normal door next to the kitchen. Despite those minor things we enjoyed it and would go back again.

This great hidden bar is a real gem! Located at the Kinely hotel behind a hidden door, the cocktails here are great and are done with a lot of care and precision that is felt and tasted! Intimate and laid back atmosphere, highly recommended!

We met up for a date night and decided to swing in to check out this speak easy. I love a good speak easy experience and have been to them in New Orleans, Vegas, Nashville, and others. The bookshelf entrance was cool and the ambiance and design inside were nice. That’s about where the positives ended. We just went for drinks but were met with obvious irritation that we were even there. I ordered the “atta boy” drink and I would not recommend it. The bartender said it takes 25 minutes to make with irritation and then proceeded to make 10 other drinks. When mine finally came my dates drink was gone. For some reason the top half of it was foam and the bottom half was actual liquid. When we tried it we both agreed it tasted like dirty laundry. I don’t see how any drink could taste this bad without being tampered with. We couldn’t drink it and I asked for something else but the bartender obviously didn’t care and had no interest in whether or not we were having a good experience. They did make us another drink but didn’t take the terrible one-off the tab. The bartender said they had worked there for 3 years in case management reviews these and cares. Sadly this is the worst speakeasy experience I’ve ever had and I won’t be back. I probably shouldn’t have but I still tipped because I have a background in the industry. What a disappointment.

Tip: Talk to the receptionists to get a table. I followed the arrow and ended up walking in a circle
This speakeasy was really nice; the ambiance was impeccable! We thought the food was okay but left a little to be desired and our bartender was a little cold, but we had a nice time. I especially appreciate that the bar had glens for neat spirits. I will definitely give Company another shot, for the experience of going through the bookshelf again if for nothing else!

Really great atmosphere. Speakeasy vibe. Drink variety is phenomenal and they taste amazing. We had the Short Ribs and Bread Pudding, both were really delicious. Great service and very intimate with perfect jazz music at the perfect level. Booth, hightop, and bar seating available.

We were excited to come back after 2 years only to be treated with bitterness and disrespect. We were planning on ordering more and trying several menu and drinks. Our server seemed pissed we were there, wouldn’t make eye contact, slammed our waters down, never returned after the food came to bring silverware, my glass sat empty for the majority of the evening and was never asked if I wanted another. After receiving the steak (it was delicious) we found the center to be raw, of course the angry server never returned so I had to get up and go to the bar, another server helped me since the angry one ignored me. She took it back to cook more and closed us out. Another disappointment was the atmosphere, no music and the angry server was dressed like they were in a grunge bar, it just didn’t make the roaring 20s speakeasy theme. My drink was good and food was great BUT we will not return, too many other great options in walking distance.

A recent evening at Company, the speakeasy nestled in the Kinley Hotel in Chattanooga, TN, proved to be an absolute treat. Ensuring a time limit with a two-hour reservation, we slipped into an atmosphere that exuded a timeless, yet chic allure, with a dash of sultry mystery. The delectable aroma of our gourmet dishes wafted through the air, meeting our expectation with every bite. Equally as enticing were the inventive cocktails, mixed to perfection, each sip delivering a new note of complexity. This place certainly elevated our ‘speakeasy’ impression, from the decor to the gastronomy. Whether rendezvousing with friends or rekindling romance on date night, Company seems to offer the perfect backdrop. With their multifaceted approach to dining and a zest for delivering quality, the establishment uniquely transcends the mainstream, making it an essential visit in Chattanooga. All in all, it was a retro-chic affair that left us anticipating our next soiree there.
