Super unique deal they got going on here. You come in, say you want the tasting flight (wine), enjoy the flight, pay $12 per tasting, or buy a bottle of wine (any wine in the store) and the tasting is free. Pretty legit deal. Wines vary from sparkling to white to red. No choices – all house chosen on the flight (you get 5 total). But I have yet to get one I didn’t like. All are good and you almost always find a favorite….which you can buy the bottle. They offer $12 bottles and they have swanky $300 bottles if you’re in the splurge mood. Great concept and it works. Food is pretty simple….salads, flatbreads, couple of apps. Great date night hit. Check it out for yourself.

What an AMAZING experience Jolly Grape was last night! Not only is the atmosphere of the place fun and inviting, but every employee we interacted with was hilarious and so friendly! We did the wine tasting and all the ones I tried were delicious. The food was incredible. I can’t say enough good things about this place and I can’t wait to go back!

This place is amazing! Atmosphere gives off great vibes. The staff is friendly and efficient. The sandwiches are huge, cheese slaw is to die for, Pimento Cheese, salads and I didn’t even mention the charcuterie boards, which are beautiful and delicious. Lastly, wine is very reasonable and tasty! Now there is an outdoor courtyard for a cool outside vibe.

This place was such a good find! We went for a tasting and stayed for a good time! They aren’t kidding they have generous tastings and the best deal is the buy a bottle and your tasting is free. Will absolutely be back!

Lovely experience wine tasting with the girls here. Hannah was very knowledgeable. She took time to describe everything and educate us. Definitely a great local experience. The atmosphere is very zen. We did get alittle rowdy at the end, a group of girls and a bottle of wine each deep. They close at 11 so it’s definitely more of a conversation place than a party spot.

One of my favorite local spots. Always delightful environment & service. The Jolly Grape carries a robust selection of wines- a huge bonus is the addition of their new food menu!! Highly recommend the salads, chartuterie boards & cheese slaw. Enjoy a $10 tasting or buy a bottle to enjoy there with a bite. You won’t be disappointed.

We’re staying in Roanoke for the weekend. Found this spot looking for a place to taste and enjoy some wine. We really liked this place. It’s casual, not pretentious. Totally approachable for those of us who are total amateurs when it comes to wine. The selection and prices are really good. The charcuterie board was tasty, the atmosphere funky (in the best way) and service was friendly and on point. If we were locals this would become a regular spot for us.

THIS Sharon wants to congratulate Jolly Grape…I liked absolutely everything I tried but loved the sparkling wine the most (just spent weeks drinking great Cava in Spain and this sparkling was incredibly good). Great service and even had GF bread for me with the charcuterie. Thanks Karen!
