I usually go to the one in downey, I order the Nutella banana acai bowl,acai wa super low, I ask her if she can put half strawberries and half banana instead of all banana and just the middle strawberries and she said no cause that the way it comes and there’s an extra charge, I go to the one in downey and they dont do that, she said is mgr rules and they gotta charge it. defenetly not coming back . I sit outside and table was dirty, the girl who took my order was nice but not the mgr.

My first time trying the juices, I ordered MR STRAWBERRY. It was so good, I will be ordering more. Theres 2 downsides, one was that I came in and the girl that was in there at 9:20 ish p.m has no customer service. Didn’t say a word to me, I gave her my name for pick up and just handed my drink. If you don’t like working there why represent the business by working there. The other problem was that when I was sipping on my drink I felt something, thinking it was a piece of fruit but it wasn’t it felt odd and removed it from my mouth and it was a piece of plastic. How?? It wasn’t from the covered plastic lid it was a different type of plastic. Will be buying these juices just not from this location. The other employees were coming in from taking out the trash. They must know who was the only girl in there. Other than that the juice was delicious. Came back today August 30, 2025 at 10:00 am and the woman in the black T-shirt is the worst. Worst customer service, what an unpleasant woman.

Terrible experience here. Ordered ahead of time. Greeted with attitude by moody girl and my drink was left on the pick-up area just melting away. She didn’t care to mention it was ready. So sad when a customer must have a bad experience due to a bad employee… which reflects on the management. Bad location and bad representative for such a great franchise. I will be notifying Movita directly about this store.

I usually go to the Movita in Downey but decided to try this location. Unfortunately it wasn’t that great I placed an online order. The Nutella banana was mostly fruit than acai. It seemed there wasn’t communication within the team, we were handed our juices first but not the acai bowls and we had to wait an additional 20 minites for them.

I come to this Juice Bar often but when I’’m helped by Jeimy F (think that’s the name) this guy is always polite and service is exceptional. Makes getting my juices here a more pleasant experience. The drinks are always really delicious. Only issue ive had was buying a yogurt with strawberries so i definitely wouldn’t purchase that again, it was definitely past the expiration date.

This is the second time I visit before work (7:15am) where they have me standing there waiting to take my order & no one acknowledges me for over 5 mins. Today, one of the 2 female employees acknowledged me after 5 mins & then still took another 2 mins to take my order. The whole time they were cleaning & what I’m assuming making to go orders since there were only 2 other customers waiting for their order. I understand this completely, but acknowledge your customers & tell them you’ll be right with them. I pay about 12 bucks for my smoothie so that’s the least they can do.
Also, the last 2 times I have visited, I have gotten a slushy type smoothie. Which I didn’t want to complain about so I just drank. Today, I did ask for them to not make it too icy like a slushy & they did get that right.
I do want to emphasize that it is only at this location. I visit the Downey promenade & the location on Gallatin several times & I never get this service. This one is just on my way to work so it’s convenient. .

I ordered a cleanser at the Movita of South Gate CA. I paid for my drink and I had to wait more than usual. They were serving people who came after me. While I still needed to wait. This just happened today 9/15/24 at 11 am. Bad customer service.

My kids had been bugging to go here. They’ve had it once before. Would be my 1st time. No regrets! I really liked it. Went during lunch and it was fulfilling. I had the “Quick Meal” comes with peanut butter and it was delicious. Also, bought me some snacks since I work from home and need something quick. Got the spicy dried mango slices, dehydrated vegetables chips, and healthy snack box! Loved them all. Definitely will come here again!
