This is a great bar. The food was excellent. I’ve had the chicken, bacon, ranch flatbread and a wrap the 2 times I went. Both were delicious and decently priced. The bartenders Amy and Chris are fantastic always making sure your looked after. I do want to note that this is at the downstairs bar called irons and ales. I haven’t been to the upstairs bar or dining area. Definitely going to start going once a week since its a local to me.

The food was really good. The pub fries ($10) come with beer cheese and bacon. They could have added a little more cheese though because it wasn’t enough for each fry to have cheese. The blackberry bacon jam burger ($15) was amazing! I highly recommend it. The burger was perfectly cooked to medium too. The 10 mild wings ($15) were sauces well and they were a decent size. They had a good amount of meat on them and weren’t super fatty. The price was acceptable. Not great but not too overly priced. One of my favorite parts was sitting outside on the deck. The tables are spread apart and not on top of each other. Lots of room and the view was nice.

We had our December 2022 wedding here and it was the perfect venue for us. The staff and Diana were very kind and accommodating to us and the vendors we hired for the wedding. Our food was delicious! The price was, in my option, reasonable too ☺️

Wed is bingo/trivia. HH 4-6pm 50% app, $1 off well drinks and domestic beers. Pretzel was delicious. Entrees took too long, we came an hour prior bingo so it wasn’t busy. Fries were soggy, crab cake was too small for the bun, not bad taste wise. Tavern burger and margarita pizza were delicious. Servers was great. Deck is clean, spacious and nice to view the course. Music bingo was so fun. Food came when bingo started, 45 mins after ordering which we didn’t mind since we were getting ready for bingo but our hands were filthy and table was full so no place for bingo papers.

Hogan’s is the best restaurant in the area! It has a beautiful setting, best outside bar area and great indoor area with a great bar and restaurant. The food is fabulous! All American! Great service, Chris is the best! Truly a top place to visit in central PA!

I didn’t actually eat a meal (had a hot pretzel and a drink)so I can’t really make an adequate assessment of the food. I was there off season on a winter Sunday early afternoon so the menu was limited and everything seemed to be micro waved or pre frozen and air fried ..not even sure there was a chef in the kitchen. ‘Meh’ was my overall impression.
The physical setting was clean And to reasonably attractive. But it is unfair to rate a golf course grill in January when there is snow on the ground. So I gave it 4 stars but on this day it was actually closer to three.
