An interesting place to grab a bite and enjoy a drink. The decor and ambiance are beautiful, as is the atmosphere. We were a little disappointed with the quality of the food and its presentation, but perhaps we’re just being picky. Overall, everything is edible and the place has its own unique vibe.

Great tavern environment. Stopped by while in town had a great time. It was BINGO night and they were having a great time. I had the smoked wings and a salad a couple old fashioned. I highly reccomend great spot.

I like this place a lot. Very clean and well decorated. Went there right before Thanksgiving and the place was already decorated for the holiday season which was very nice. Did not eat but had drinks at the bar. Nice selection of beers and they have Utica Club on tap which was great to see. Bartender was very nice and accommodating. Will definitely be back.

My boyfriend and I, and our numerous friends were regulars for karaoke. We would come in with 4-7 one night every weekend. Unfortunately that is now over. We came on New Year’s Eve and the owner’s drunk and overly obnoxious and entitled wife started with my boyfriend. The owner tried to diffuse the situation by talking to my boyfriend in the back. While Chris the owner was apologizing to my husband for his wife’s actions, she kept on being drunk and obnoxious to me. When I had finally had enough and said something back to her, their equally drunk and obnoxious male friend forced me to the door and kicked me out. When my boyfriend finally came out and the owner realized his wife was still at it, I watched him grab his wife by the face and scream at her. What an insane bunch of overly entitled, drunken and dysfunctional people. My boyfriend and I and our numerous friends will never step foot back in that place ever again. They have no idea that their drunken interactions with people who pay their bills on a weekly basis will ruin that bar and it’s reputation. Good riddance.

I love to play the Lark Street Tavern. The bar is classy, the barkeeps friendly and the performance space is designed for an intimate listening experience replete with velvet couches. I can’t wait to perform here again.

This is a must stop in Albany. Fantastic service and literally the best French fries I have ever had. Not kidding, they are outstanding. We also enjoyed a few beers, a hummus wrap and a pizza. Make sure to make the trip to Lark Street Tavern.

Eat at Savoy tonight. Get the slushy drinks. Have a cold pint at 4 o’clock in a mostly empty bar. Go somewhere you’ve never been(the back patio or dining room). Listen to someone you think may not like Steely Dan talk about Sade. Order the steak frittes rare. Eat a burger. Drink a Summer Boy. DRINK 5. Be open to a world where you may not understand or agree with the movie playing above the bar, but have a drink and watch it anyways. Eat slowly. Drink Fast. Tip Joe and Hailey. Check in on your friends. Check in on yourself. Enjoy Savoy, its really quite good.

Disappointing visit, given the reputation of the establishment. Granted, it was explained to us that they didn’t have their usual full menu available, due to the crowd from “Loud On Lark”, but the meager offerings available were low-quality and overpriced. The service likewise was lackluster, despite having what appeared to be ample staff on hand for the event. To be completely fair though, the appetizers were excellent.
