My first time eating from this restaurant. I have heard so many great things. I had to try it for myself.
There was a line when I entered. The wait wasn’t long and there were so many choices.
I chose turkey wigs, collards, corn, and rice and gravy. The hush puppies or bread and drink of choice come with the meal. I also got a piece of pecan covered red velvet cake.
I truly wish there was a seating area at this location. Couldn’t wait to dig in.
The food was delicious. All of it!

The food there was delicious, I was snowed in for the weekend in North Carolina with their delicious comfort food. The collard greens and macaroni and cheese was not that great, but everything else was amazing! I will definitely go back again.

Great food, awesome when not busy. When it’s busy it’s VERY BUSY HAHA otherwise great (eating in is a lot cheaper !!) $15 for buffet! I paid $26 for the plate in the picture and a cup of banana pudding ! Hope this helps

Overall the food here is decent. I ordered a pick up plate with baked chicken, rice and gravy , Mac and cheese, Lima beans, with cabbage and a piece of fried pork chop. My fried pork chop was definitely a 10 out of 10 along with my Lima beans. Mac and cheese was giving a 6.. very greasy, buttery and salty, cabbage was a cool 7 and rice with gravy was a 6.2..Now I did go to the buffet location that did not offer turkey wings nor the infamous $25 chitlings but overall not bad..overall experience is a 7. We did meet a nice girl refilling food that definitely helped with the customer service!! Shoutout to her!

Im 73 and like the food I grew up eating. At Sylvia’s you get that and it is VERY GOOD. Take out only but I don’t have a problem with that, I just eat in the truck and take everything I need with me. Everything looks great but I’m there for the chitlins and they are GOOD. Give it a try, you can’t be disappointed.

Okay so I stopped through because I was told they had the best food & banana pudding b/c I’m always eating at Marty’s so I came through to check it out. I paid $14 for my meal but umm here’s my review…baked chicken was good, just didn’t think the meat part was suppose to be pink) it was really pink (like a little pink piggy was on the inside of it ♀️) , 8/10, however, the rice and gravy was really good, 10/10, and chileeee the yams was , the nastiest yams I ever tasted in my entire life..must of been an off day but absolutely no sugar and tasted bland (1/10) didn’t even eat it. Lemonade def was 10/10 and the strawberry cake was 7/10. Friendly customer service but very small on the inside so don’t expect to dine in without feeling claustrophobia and the place smelled like chitterlings as soon as I walked in..Wasn’t so pleasant. I think I’ll pass on this place though. Not my cup of tea.

They have the best chitin/ chitterlings my father ever had. He loved it so much we had to go back there to order more. You will not regret it!!! The best in North Carolina. So if you are ever in Wilson or passing it on 95 and you have a taste for some real authentic soul food stop there.
