I go there specially for the frog legs, they are sensational! Rest of the food is good also and there’s very little waiting time. Staff is very nice.
UPDATE: Went back there to try the Soft Shell Crab. Was fantastic! Also i took a portion of Vermicelli with pork, that pork is sensational! Very diverse menu. I strongly recommend the restaurant.

Wonderful food – we went authentic Vietnamese, but there’s also Chinese and Thai dishes. Pancake (pork and prawn) was incredible, as were the spring rolls – much better than average. Waiters were friendly and helpful, but spread too thin – more than 2 people would be better for Friday night

Overall, the portions are generous, the menu extensive and reasonably priced. Alcohol can be brought in.
All dishes are very tasty. You will not be disappointed. Easy to visit on your own because the staff are friendly but you may want to bring a group to try out the different dishes!

Amazing Vietnamese food in London.
Our food was absolutely delicious. For a starter, two meals and two drinks we paid just over £30, which is incredible for London.
Apart from that, the food was so delicious, definitely the best Vietnamese dishes we’ve had in London. The service was friendly.
100% will be coming back.

Very spartan environment but the food is great, portions are very big and prices more than fair.
The duck never disappoints and the staff always try their best to make customers feel welcome. Must try.

Got the bun rieu and it was pretty good, though could’ve used a bit more flavor. Our initial server wasn’t great. It took her a while to take our order and she seemed poorly trained. She kept nearly hitting face with the plates and almost put her sleeves in my friend’s meal. Thankfully, the other servers were attentive and better. Helpful to note they’re cash only. I think they need better signage about this.

I’ve visited Tay Do multiple times, and it’s easily one of my top spots for authentic Vietnamese food at a great price. The bun cuon dishes are a standout—fresh, flavorful, and always satisfying. Just a reminder, they only accept cash, but there’s an ATM across the road for convenience.
