Our first visit to Jeanine’s was a great experience. We were seated quickly and efficiently right at 6:30 pm. Service throughout the evening was attentive and prompt. We started with the Buffalo cauliflower and the hot mustard wood-oven wings, both of which were excellent.For entrées, we ordered the house burger, the black and blue burger, fish and chips, and a Greek salad with salmon. Portions were generous, the food arrived hot, and everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The fries were especially crisp and savory. A special shout-out to Kim for keeping everything running smoothly in a packed restaurant on a busy Friday night!

This is just a beautiful new restaurant in a very conveniently located shopping center with a very easy in and out to Glen Cove Ave. I had the pleasure of dining at ‘The View’ restaurant at the Glen Cove Golf Course when Jeanine ran it. That was a fun place to be. This new restaurant is a beautiful modern venue with a very comfortable vibe. I especially love the wood burning pizza oven in the front opposite the big beautiful bar.
We were a large group and sat very comfortably at a long table in the main room. Jeanine’s team is amazing and works very hard to make sure your comfortable and you have what you need for an enjoyable experience.
What’s nice is with so many people you get to order a bit of everything [and share-taste]. Jeanine does such a great job creating wonderful dishes that are always fresh and tasty.
Our dinner was not served family style but everyone managed to get a taste of everything that was ordered.

– Delicious Steak served with fresh vegetables
– Wonderful Chicken Francaise
– Vanilla Ice cream over chocolate cake
Everything was a definite YUM and I am looking forward to many return trips to start eating my way through the menu. It’s not just about the food, the dinner experience must be a fun-enjoyable-comfortable one. After walking out and saying the food was great, you also must feel like you really felt comfortable with the entire experience. This is what Jeanine’s American Bistro does.

We just had a family christmas get together in Jeanine’s private party room. And we couldn’t been more happier. The food was delicious thanks to Jeanine and Jorge. The food at Jeanine’s is consistently delicious, and the entire staff is first-rate. Jeanine herself is so warm and accommodating and is such a sincere and kind person.
On one visit when I was in a rush picking up dinner for my mom, she went above and beyond to quickly prepare the most perfectly tender chicken cutlet with vegetables in just minutes.
On my most recent visit, I had the most delicious chicken parm with ziti I have ever had in my life. The ziti was not only perfectly cooked, but the sauce – wow! It was something out of this world. The best I’ve ever had. I can’t even properly describe how incredible it was – you have to try it for yourself! While I was waiting, someone at the bar overheard my order and told me how amazing it was and said that I am going to love it! She was absolutely right.
I’ve also had their brick oven pizza many times – they make it fresh right in front of you in minutes and it’s absolutely delicious. I can’t believe how quickly they prepare such phenomenal food across the board.
The prices are incredibly reasonable for such high-quality, home-cooked style food. You can absolutely really taste the care and quality in everything they make.

Jeanines is a great place to have a spectacular home made meal.

Jeanine’s is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is consistent and delicious, the service is wonderful. Went to brunch today and our server, Krystal, was cheerful, attentive, and friendly. Bartender Gera was fantastic and made an awesome seasonal sangria. And if course, Jeanine is a fabulous chef. Qe started off with Louisiana Shrimp Fritters, which are to die for. My steak and eggs were perfect and my beignets were the perfect end to a fantastic meal. I just love this place.

My sister and I went here last night and loved the food, but what really stood out was the owner. She personally came over to introduce herself, chatted with us like we were longtime friends, and even surprised the kids with delicious desserts. Her warmth and pride in her restaurant made the whole experience feel special.

Visited Jeannine’s on a Thursday Trivia Night with two girlfriends!
We were not there for the trivia, just for dinner.
We were seated by Kim and greeted by our waitress Krystal who not only smiled the whole time, but was attentive to us the whole night!
She told us there was no rush even though it was an event night!
I had the special, shrimp and salmon marinara over penne! Delicious!
My two friends had the Caesar salad with salmon. Delicious too!
We didn’t have to decide on dessert, a beautiful plate of Jeannine’s signature beignets with caramel sauce was brought to our table on the house!
How nice is it to go out to dinner and feel so welcomed!!!!

Jeanine’s American Bistro holds a very special place for our family. Our first visit after our daughter’s celiac diagnosis was filled with uncertainty, but we were immediately put at ease by the warm welcome from the staff. Jeanine herself came out to greet us—always with a hug—and took the time to understand our concerns. She assured us she would prepare truly safe food for our daughter, with no gluten and no risk of cross-contamination, which made it possible for our family to enjoy dining out again.
We’ve returned several times, and the kindness and attentiveness never waver. On our most recent visit, our server Krystal provided the same exceptional care. Jeanine and her team are warm, accommodating, and gracious hosts, and we are incredibly lucky to have this restaurant in our community.

Absolutely loved this place! The service was friendly and attentive from start to finish, making us feel welcome. The fish and chips were perfectly cooked-crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside. Everything came out fresh and hot, and the portion size was generous. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to and will recommend to friends.
