Amalfi’s is a welcoming neighborhood restaurant offering very good food in a warm, comfortable atmosphere. The dining room is inviting without being pretentious, making it an easy choice for a relaxed evening out. With an average cost of about $35–$40 per person, the pricing feels reasonable for the quality of the meal and overall experience.
While the food and ambiance were enjoyable, the service was somewhat inconsistent. Our waiter was polite but fairly disengaged. There was no introduction or mention of his name, and after taking our order, he was largely absent. Our meals were delivered by another staff member, and there was little interaction throughout the remainder of the meal.
What truly elevated the evening, however, was Odin who was responsible for clearing the tables. He checked in with us multiple times to see if anything needed to be cleared and made a point to wish us a continued enjoyable experience. His attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine warmth stood out and left a lasting impression. He embodied the kind of service that makes guests feel welcomed and valued.
Overall, Amalfi’s delivers where it matters most with its food and atmosphere. With more consistent engagement from waitstaff, the dining experience could be exceptional. It’s a solid choice in Lawrenceville and one we would gladly return to.

Came here for Thanksgiving Eve & had a great time! Atmosphere is very cozy & inviting, tables were spaced apart nicely so it didn’t feel like you were on top of other folks.
We tried the Brussels sprouts as an app & it was fantastic! Their cocktails were delicious as well, bit of an older crowd but def a nice place that I look forward to stopping at again!

The pizza was wonderful, served right at our table with fresh mozzarella and ripe, flavorful tomatoes. The bread was also excellent and complemented the meal perfectly. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared, making it a truly enjoyable dining experience.

Decent food, neglectful service, zero parking.
The pizza was delicious. Honestly the best pizza I’ve had on the east coast. The Cajun pasta had barely enough sauce to cover the noodles, but it was tasty and the chicken was good. The eggrolls were interesting and definitely worth a try. Never had anything like them but they were great.
There was nowhere to wait so we had to stand awkwardly in the door for a while. We could see plenty of empty tables and a few bar seats so idk why we had to wait so long. The waiter was largely absent. We basically had no water most of the meal. We waited at least 10 min trying to flag him down for a dessert menu.
It’s definitely loud and there are sports tvs everywhere which is offputting in a restaurant like this imo. Lighting was alright.
Next time we’re getting the pizza to go and avoid all the noise and waiting.

I found out today that I am celiac. Honestly, I’m devastated & terrified that I’ll never love food the same. Almafi’s is my favorite restaurant and I saw that the wings are marked gluten free. These wings have always been my favorite in the area and my go-to at Almafi’s, so this was my way of starting my new diet after my diagnosis this morning. I only realized tonight that they offer gluten free pizza crust and pasta for every menu item, so I tried the GF Mikey Roni pizza and the pasta bolognese. The pizza was very good and made me hopeful that I could still enjoy GF pizza. The pasta was freaking amazing, so similar to normal pasta that I honestly could barely tell. I asked the waiter for the brand name of the pasta and he told me it was Granoro which is apparently made in Italy so I just ordered boxes of that for my home. The waiter told me the wings are gluten free but are cross-contact due to the lack of a separate GF fryer….I still ate them because, like I said, they’re my favorite and I’m too new at this lol

Stopped in with a friend for dinner before a local game on Friday at 5:30 pm. They really have a serious parking problem with not enough spaces in the lot. Maybe 20 or more cars had to park on both sides of Pennington Lawrenceville Rd. Lots of traffic with cars going by at 40-50 mph. Not at all safe for seniors or children. The appetizers were sliders, which were excellent and Italian Quesadilla, good. We ordered draft beers and they have a good selection. The bar was packed and the tables were filled by 6:00 pm. Waitress was friendly and provided excellent service. I would highly recommend if they expanded parking.

This is a very good restaurant. Good food. Nice decor and well spaced out seating. Excellent service. Manuel was our waiter and he was great. Very responsive and personable. Only issue is they need better/more parking. People parking up and down the street and into neighborhoods is kinda rough. Otherwise, I’ll definitely go back soon.

We had a lovely experience here. Our server was pleasant, had good recommendations, and just the right amount of attentiveness. The arugula salad with added chicken is one of the best salads I have had. Looking forward to going again so that I can try other menu items.

Top notch place. I don’t go often, but I should! Impressed once again. Consistent, excellent meals. Wonderful service and support staff. Andres was our server and Odin is a pleasure! Amazing food, nice portions, more than fair price points, no matter if you go for lunch or dinner. A well executed restaurant that I am more than comfortable choosing to spend my hard earned money at.
