This was a nice gem that our family brought us while in VA. Atmosphere was on point from the minute you park with music playing. Service was on point and great and the food….. Oh the food. It was amazing and would be worth a stop if in the mood for authentic Mexican food. The only pointer I would give is ditch the store bought tortillas and serve home made, and this place is a SMASH. Overall, still 5 ⭐ overall. Enjoy!

Wow. Fastest service I have ever received. And it’s freaking delicious. Had the enchiladas blancos. They made me a magnificently huge michelada. Accommodated me by pointing the fan another way, even though I totally sat in front of it. I was absolutely starving and this place really delivered.

Just as good (if not better) as Papa Nachos (same building) !!! Fantastic lunch, will return for more Tex-Mex meals !!! The chicken was tender and moist and the Beef Tips melted in your mouth !!! Service and value is top-notch!

The chicken fajitas were absolutely delicious, sizzling with flavor and perfectly seasoned. The tortillas tasted as if they were handmade, adding an authentic touch to every bite. Their micheladas were refreshing and packed with just the right amount of kick. I also loved the variety of spicy sauces they offered, each one adding a unique burst of flavor. The service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Definitely a spot I’ll be returning to!

So far this place has been the closest to decent mexican food so far. I came in for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. Ordered the tableside guacamole, biriani tacos, and fried ice cream. Guacamole was decent could have used a bit of garlic. Tacos were amazing, but the fried ice cream was a bit lack luster. It was ice cream rolled in cornflakes and not even fried, and then covered in whipped cream. It’s an open space so sound travels a bit so be prepared to have a loud conversation.

We had an amazing dining experience at this Mexican restaurant! The Tacos al Pastor were incredible, with tender, flavorful meat served on fresh, homemade tortillas, the habanero salsa was the perfect blend of heat and flavor, especially with the crispy chips. We also tried the Carne Asada Tacos, and they were absolutely exquisite, juicy, perfectly seasoned, and just delicious. The new dish, Piña Loca, was a true fiesta of flavors, bursting with freshness and creativity. Hands down, the best Mexican food in Newport News. We can’t wait to come back for more!
