The food here is great and prepared quickly. It’s a family-run business and they’re always kind to my kids. The orange chicken is a winner. They’re always closed on Mondays.

Great place for Chinese Takeout, being only couple minutes away from KOP mall, they take credit cards(Even Amex and discover) as soon as it’s over 8$, otherwise there would be a 50¢surcharge.
Vegetables are fresh, no extra charge for shrimp over other protein options. During weekdays they even provide a lunch menu(Try no.32)for less than 8$ with a free soda and fried rice, the portion is about 1Pt.

Food was inedible except for the egg roll. Sesame Chicken was so overcooked and rock hard it was inedible. I felt like I was served rocks. Dumplings (8) were full of uncooked hard pieces of cabbage and crunch was extremely surprising and unpleasant. Would not order from here again.

I’ve been coming here since I was young since I grew up in Bridgeport. I will forever compare other Chinese food to China Star as nothing is the same! Whenever I am in town visiting, I make sure to stop here. I always get chicken wings with fries but everything here is so good.

I’ve been living in Pennsylvania for over 7 years and I’ve been coming here. I will never complain about the food! The service is a turn off though, the lady is super rude for no reason. How do you be rude to people who been supporting your business for over 7 years? Lie to you not I’ve been in there at least 3/4 times where she was being rude and someone was arguing with her. Would be a better business if CUSTOMER SERVICE was decent. Otherwise I’ll limit how much I come here bc at one point I was getting Chicken Wings fried hard everyday

No thank you, in response to mine. Food was lackluster. Beef tough and chewy. Attitude and customer relations were poor to non existent.

I ordered from here and I got the smallest wings with pieces missing. When I called to tell them about this, they said it was fine and would make me a new order. I made my dad go out of his way to take me to pick up the order and then they were charging me for it. This isn’t fair because I only got half of my food in the first order and both of the people there were extremely rude and giving us horrible looks.
