I was excited to try Point Break for my brother’s birthday. Most people’s food came out okay. My grandmother and brother ordered the Hawaiian chicken sandwich, I got the Hang Ten Club, and my grandfather ordered the Johnny Utah. The waitress assumed my grandfather didn’t want cheese because he didn’t explicitly say “with cheese.” My mother ordered the tuna dinner.

I enjoyed my sandwich, and the sandwiches overall were decent. Unfortunately, that didn’t make up for the rest of the experience.

My mother asked for her tuna medium rare, but it came out very rare and had a spongy texture. Her sweet potato fries were not hot, and some weren’t fully cooked. She asked for the tuna to be remade, and the waitress said it would be. When it came back, it was darker on the outside but still raw, bright pink inside, and still spongy, as shown in the photo. In fact it seemed as if they had just microwaved the same peice. The cook also seemed visibly annoyed.

The onion rings are advertised as beer battered they didn’t taste like it. They said the sandwichs were on Texas toast as well but they weren’t.

We also asked for more napkins, which they said they would bring, but they never did. The restaurant was extremely loud, which made the experience even less enjoyable.

Overall, while the sandwiches were mostly fine, the poor service and the mishandled raw fish completely overshadowed the meal. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re ordering anything other than a basic sandwich, especially considering the raw tuna dish cost $21.

We had to wait at the door a little over 5 minutes to be sitted. It took over 45 minutes after ordering to get our food. The food wasn’t bad. The service sucked. Never checked on. Had to sip my drink knowing that I wouldn’t get a refill. Don’t go here on your lunch break if you only have an hour. Ridiculous. They had no care in the world.

What a nice cafe in the area! We were looking to try something new for lunch and found this little gem that did not disappoint! Staff is super friendly and it has such a nice ambiance. The honey hot chicken wings are great and the southwest egg rolls were sooo flavorful!! They have a great cocktail menu as well. There is definitely other stuff on the menu we wanted to try so we we back!!

First time dining here and was pleasantly pleased with my experience. Most of the menu items names were taken from the movie which provided a little nostalgia when we arrived. Their special board out front indicated they had oysters Rockefeller. In order to get praise for me on oysters rock you’ve got to be top-notch, which I will say there is within my top three.

Their menu selection is quite wide and able to suit any picky eater. The drinks were full of flavor and very delicious. I’d like to try more the next time I go. After trying a few things on the appetizer list my wife was filling up so she picked another appetizer as her entrée. The sliders that she picked came out so healthy that she was only able to eat half of each and had to take the rest home.

I have no problem recommending this place to anyone who would like to try a little something different. I can’t wait to go again.

My wife and I went here on two separate occasions both times we had the same waitress I believe her name was Hannah a blonde woman. Both times we were there she was rude and inattentive. The second time we went we waited for a while before even getting to order while she was behind the bar just talking to the other waitresses. We were left with empty glasses for most of our meal as well. The food there was great though no complaints there definitely recommend for their food just not their service.

We had some time to kill so my boyfriend and I decided to check out this place. One of the few he hasn’t been to. We were greeted instantly. Our waitress was amazing and attentive. Food came out fast and there are no complaints with that! Everything was delicious. It just happened to be trivia night , which I declined at first , but then joined with him. So much fun. Decor was nice and festive. The crowd was funny. There is a full bar.

Burrito says this is a drinking establishment for a little bit older crowd. That of the Point Break era. Now, I love that movie, but I was much younger when I saw it than most of the other patrons. Dumpling says it is a cool concept and vibe, and you go for the drinks and socialization – the food is just to soak up the booze. We had the Hang Loose, a watermelon drink of some sort, and a Prickly Pear Margarita. I will definitely be back to suck down more of the excellently balanced and refreshingly delicious vodka lemonade concoctions that are the Hang Loose. I had a burger to eat, which was a bit disappointing. It wasn’t bad, but it was nothing special. Dumpling had garlic Parmesan wings and barbecue wings, and the appetizer sliders. It was one mini burger and one chicken salad sandwich, both served on Hawaiian rolls. We would both eat the chicken salad again. Burrito had a side of onion rings, which were her preferred beer, battered type and not those crusty Panko breaded ones. Burrito would get that side again. We shall be back, ready to get our drink on and chill. The service was also stellar. Our server was attentive and very nice.

Eaten here a few times and honestly it seems to be hit or miss. 90% of there time the food and service was fantastic but I’ve had bad service a couple times, most likely due to being understaffed or new inexperienced waiter. I’d recommend going but maybe not if their very busy.
