It doesn’t look like much from the outside, in fact it is easy to miss, but inside is a different story. This is a csfe that truly honors America’s armed forces. The walls are covered with military memorabilia that seem to have Ben donated by individual service members.

The food was good and filling, the service friendly and attentive. A good place for a quick bite.

It’s alright, I got the Baja fish tacos and my brother got the hatch Chile burger. He said his was bland, and mine was nothing special. It was cooked well and fresh and very pretty, but the tortilla was untoasted, and the only definitive flavor was the chipotle aoli, which was good but just wasnt quite doing it. I feel like this would be an awesome place to come get chicken and waffles or a regular burger. They do their basics very well. Other than that, the staff was excellent! Our waitress was attentive, incredibly nice, and fast. The actual resturaunt is very cool. Seeing as it was a dance studio before, I was worried it was going to smell like feet, but luckily it didnt smell like anything at all! Clean, spacious, and well lit with lots of cool memorabilia all over. Might be back.

atmosphere was great, war memorabilia everywhere. A tribute to those have served in past to protect our great country. Everything made from scratch nothing tasted out of a can. Get there before 3:00 pm or you will have to come back the next day.

If I could give negative stars I would. My family and I went there Tuesday morning. My husband and I got the honor burger. Was good. My daughter got French toast was ok but pricey. My grandson got the kids waffles. They were hard his sausage was good. I ordered 4 breakfast tacos. Cost 6 dollars per taco. Made with powdered eggs and was charged more for the bean and cheese. 24 dollars for 4 tacos. My total ended up being 101 and some change. Also what ever coffee they use I would change it. Was so so bad.

I did not get any refills on the coffee my daughter didn’t get a refill on hers as well. I asked for a Dr pepper. Regardless the price Is not worth the quality or quantity. It is not worth your prices. Sorry

The restaurant is fairly nice. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. For our appetizer, we tried the fried cheese grits, which were pretty good. For our mains, we had the brisket sandwich with the mac and cheese side as well as the chef’s salad. The brisket was delicious, and the mac and cheese had a good kick to it. The chef salad was good, but the eggs were not diced like the menu stated. They were instead quartered. Really, the only thing to complain about in the whole meal. Overall, I loved the atmosphere and loved that they are centered around veterans.

I was greeted, and seated immediately. The host took my drink order (coffee, black), and brought it to my table promptly with the menu.

{Side note on the menu: Excellent presentation. Anyone who has ever spent any time, on any military base will recognize the “ACCO Presentation Folder” used for important documents.}

The place is highly decorated as a field post would be, with flags and memorabilia on each wall, and some good quality aircraft models are on display in aerobatic flight orientations. The clean concrete floor is better than many installations I’ve been in, and it is consistent with the Military Theme.
    My breakfast bowl came out quickly, despite my special order, along with offered Cholula. {See the Dietary restrictions section below.}

So why not 5 Stars Top to Bottom?
This quality establishment is being compared against the breadth of my personal experiences. I enjoyed the smell of the food so much I neglected to take the picture of the food before taking a bite!

To earn that 5th Star, my wonderful dish would need to use red chili to complement the chorizo. And the atmosphere is mostly a matter of personal taste that would be enhanced in my book if the staff dressed in period WWII uniform attire that would go along with the Corsair model I sat beneath. 🙂 {My Father was a WWII Vet, so I’m partial to that era.}

Check out the Red Board Tavern & Table in Navasota for a 5 Star Experience.

This place is one of the best kept secrets in the Huntsville/Houston area. We liked it so much the first time trying that we came back the next day. Firstly, the food is outstanding. The portions are huge, pricing is fair, and taste is perfect. Our orders came out in under ten minutes on both days and my coffee was never empty. The waitresses were kind, fun to talk to, and always smiling. I absolutely will come back and tell my friends about this place. It hits the spot after a cold morning hunt! Breakfast all day too.

Can not go to a better spot for breakfast! The atmosphere just walking in was awesome! Staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Ordered a few different breakfast plates to go. The Grande breakfast burrito was amazing. The SOS steak and gravy honor, best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had. The French toast and blueberry sausage, you read that right, blueberry sausage, was amazing! Can not say enough about this place. Can’t wait to stop back in and try the lunch menu. The place is very clean and filled with awesome military history. From the time I walked in and was greeted by the very friendly staff to the time I walked out with my order, I didn’t feel one bit discriminated, didn’t get any rude service, and felt like family. Highly recommended! Coming to visit your college student? Or maybe a friend or relative in the prison system? Stop in and try this place. You will not be disappointed. Live in Huntsville? This is going to be your new favorite spot!!! Love it!!! P.S. the coffee is their own blend, so good. I bought a bag to brew here at home.
